Re: New Passive Skill

I wasn't trying to say that one spec belongs on top, but I am of the belief that more complex specs should produce more damage than less complex ones. Ideally, i'd prefer that all three specs be of similar complexity and output. But if one spec can put it's optimal output into one macro, that output...

Re: Thoughts On Volley Removal - Survey

There's jsut too much we don't know and all we have to go on is a sudden change with the promise that Multi will be different eventually. Blizzard has a bad habit of changing things without a fix right on it's tails, and even though some of it can be excused because this is all beta, it's still jerk...

Re: New Passive Skill

It's part of the mastery system. Every spec gets the same bonus, and then a slightly different bonus, and then a totally different bonus. It's a passive thing that they can tweak and knob until the specs are balanced, so right now they are the same going in, but if MM pulls ahead by too much (it is ...

Re: Don't Want: Worgen Sniff Sound

So that sound was me? God it was creepy, walking around Darnassus at night and hearing this noise. On the other hand, it does stop when you shift back to human form. Frankly, if it weren't for that freaky sound, I'd never look at my human form again, so there might be a point to it. It's a reasonabl...

Re: Dual spec cost to be reduced in cat

Um, this is the beta guys, prices tend to be dropped to low levels to ensure plenty of people test out a feature. buying new skills costs 8c. I'm sure that price will go up.

Recite the mantra:

It's beta, everything can change.

They haven't touched any of the old raids. So those core hounds should still be availible. The pet pass hasn't happened yet.

Re: Soriid + Haarka - Potentially Changing Silithids

The brain bugs are still there, they have new names now though :) Found old Soriid and Haarka deep under the hives too OH! So they're mocking us AND keeping Soriid/Haarka. That's slightly better, at least! Actually, this way, it seems less like mocking and more of an acknowledgement of the hu...

Re: Tanking Pets: Which Do You Prefer?

Bears do have a nice style. but as the only tanking my pets do anymore is either parking next to Valritha or helping me solo old raids, my Slimalisk is my Raider's tank of choice, and my turtle is securely in my BM's roster until such time as the loot gods smile upon us.

Re: NPCscan or SilverDragon or Both?

I have both, but you really only need silver dragon. npc_scan will find a rare once. and only once until you flush out the cache and then it will find it again, Dragon will always find it. However, npc seems to find things sooner than dragon from a longer range, where as dragon seems to be best at t...

Re: Scorpids - You have one?

I used to rock a black scorp during BC. It wasn't my favorite pet, but that was more of a matter of it jsut not clicking with me (HA!!) What ultimitaly drives my stable these days is pets that are a challenge to tame, flukes, or refugees. So I do have a turquoise clacker in the barn waiting for 5 mo...

How is it a dilemna? yes unless you pvp cunning pets are jsut eye candy for walking around town, but unless you need the space for something more certain, keep the bugs and wait and see.

Re: If you could add or change a pet family...

The problem right now is that the tenacity pets have most of the debuff abilities, Rhinos got mangle, for instance. Now if you're in a raid that is somehow without both a feral druid or a warrior, who brings a tanking pet to a raid? Tanking pets that let dps do more damage is counter productive, the...

Re: "Void Wolf" Pics

haste gear isn't so much the issue. my gear only knocks about 2 sec off tame beast, the true variable is the distance of the alliance to the frost trap. After enough tries you can eyeball the disance and guess whether you need to start taming at 5 seconds (long distance) or 7 (short) or somewhere in...

Re: "Void Wolf" Pics

I'm having the darnest time with this, besides the variability of getting an alliance player to hold still and keep a set distance away, I swear I got the timing perfect and no oil colors. It's hard to say, "well a fraction of a second this or that", and not, "maybe they fixed this.&q...

This is less Grimtotem and more like the Garwhal tame. In execution, at least. But yeah I understand the point.

Re: So torn :(

If you have the slot, You could roll another hunter. Otherwise it really does come down to what you want more and what can and can't be replaced. OCJ is still around in cata, but the Oil Wolf trick is not easily replicated. So if it was only a matter of time until you got more slots, It would be bet...
