Re: Lethal force in defense of pets
I'd rather whip out pepper spray or a tazer than shoot. I hate seeing dogs on the news needlessly killed when other methods could've effectively stopped them. As a pet owner I would do everything in my power to avoid putting my dog in that situation in the first place, that also means not leaving th...

Mentioned this earlier in guild chat. Forgot to give you the name. BLUE WILDERNESS DOG FOOD Not the cheapest but if she want one of the top 3 dog foods on the market this is it. I love it and so does my picky, special diet needs dog. (she has food allergies) Blue Buffalo is decent dog food, ...

Re: North State Sportsman Expo Jump
Thank you guys! I really appreciate the kind comments!
The state I live in was sort of the origin area for the original dock jumping club, so we have quite a few events around here, lots of opportunities.

If I did have to guess it would be something like Ragdoll/Domestic Shorthair or Siamese/Maine Coon (That would explain thickness).
But I'm not too savvy so... :p

Re: Tell me this isnt as bad as it seems...
I agree with other posts, vet! Could be a whole mess of things. When she feeds the chicken breast, are there bones? Raw bones are fine if fed appropriate to size, but cooked bones alters the structure and causes them to splinter and become much much harder to digest. Also, cooking the food just suck...

That's basically what I said.
I just clarified that it doesn't have to be mixed with a lot of things.

North State Sportsman Expo Jump
We had a lot of fun today, I was told there were only a few dogs at this event last year, this time there were over 40. I believe we had 4 heats each time, and ended up having to start the latter jumps later than planned because it was taking so long. Dakota's best for the weekend was the same as la...

Re: My new blue-eyed handsome man (with pics)
Moggies aren't a mix of a lot of things, moggie is what you call a cat that doesn't display very obvious traits of one breed. So if you're going "it could be this, or this, maybe some of this" then you'd label them a "moggie". My boy is a moggie, my friend went out to feed her ho...

Re: My new blue-eyed handsome man (with pics)
He's a gorgeous boy, not really seeing the Siamese at all, there are several different breeds that posses the pointed look that are thicker bodied. ;) He looks like a good ol' moggie. And thank you too for saving a life :3 As a side note, it's not uncommon for shelter cats to shed a lot due to stres...

Kraft (means "Strength" in German) is one of my favorite pets. I love his model and his waddle. ;) A good friend of mine helped rally up folks to help me get up to him. He's one of my main leveling/pve pets. http://i933.photobucket.com/albums/ad178/i_heart_dakota/Screenshots/WoWScrnShot_04...

Re: Random Pet Family Appreciation Thread 2: Warp Stalkers!
Awww, warpstalkers hold a special place in my heart and in my stables. My soul pet, if she can be called such is Gezzarak. I tamed her back when she first became tameable, and man it was a pain in the butt! I became exalted with the Skyguard along the way, I remember it taking weeks to finally have ...

Re: Random Pet Family Appreciation Thread 3: Crocolisks!
It feels odd posting a hydra amongst all the crocs. I do love crocs, one of my favorites in real life, but none have connected with me in game yet. :( My hydra's old name was BillieJoe, now named Giest. When I originally got him it was mainly for the unqiueness, and he only stayed because he became ...
