Re: The incomprehensibility of the bat nerf...
Well, as someone who has a 90 warlock -and- hunter, I can honestly say that while my voidlord is -infinitely- better than it used to be, it's pretty damn smushy compared to a hunter pet (not counting stuff like panda-rare-petsmashing). Warlock pets are great but they really aren't as tough and mult...

Re: Blizzard…WHY?!
Maybe I'm just the suckiest hunter ever but i'd love to know how he did this. I'm usually pretty good at working out solo stuff but not those (unless I kite them half way across the map to a town). My gears around the 509 mark so I'm not terribly geared...do voidies just ignore the smash or have lo...

Re: Blizzard…WHY?!
Id say Yes to the warlock solo v hunter solo. Ive seen a voidwalker tank the warbringers without issue...since the nerf I don't think a hunter pet can do the same...although i haven't tried with a healer. I did a few with a random 90 warlock and a 89 priest healing the voidy occastionally and all o...

Re: Blizzard…WHY?!
I really am wondering if a lock can solo better than a hunter now... I'm gonna try. In my opinion warlocks are better at soloing hardhitting, unkiteable mobs. It has to do with the way you summon a new pet. With a warlock you can summon while your pet is still out, you can summon the exact same pet...

Adorable Roly-poly Worm (IMG heavy)
Today I was feeling a bit bored of my 90s, so I decided to level my 2nd hunter. It's a good thing I did because this is what I found... Re: What is your "default" mount set?
I like to have RP stories for my characters (even tho I havent RPed in about 4 years) so my mounts correspond to their stories. My shado-pan hunter rides one of the rep tigers for ground mount and Onyx Cloud Serpent to fly. I would love to get her a pandaren phoenix tho. My sindorei bloodmage rides ...

Re: What would you like to be tameable in 5.3?
My guess is the people who have the retired ZG Raptor (which is what the raptor skin is based off of) would get butthurt because they don't feel as unique anymore. Ah, retired mounts, the center of whining. That just makes me want it even more! Wouldn't having a matching pet/mount combo make the mo...

Re: Patch 5.3.16781 New Titan Model And other
My only gripe with the metal-and-glow undead horse is that the bones of the tail extend all the way to the end. That's not how horse tails work--the base, what the hair attaches to, only extends down about a third of the way. I still love it, though. >.> /grabbyhands If you start looking at the ana...

Yup time to kill me some orc  You can break as many of Anduin's bones as you want, but not mah pretty scenery!! But I like Anduin.. Hurting him is not ok. Ok I guess we can avenge Anduin too, but if it turns out its we alliance who save everyone from Garrosh we get to keep all the bloo...

Re: FIFTY-FIVE! Show off your new planned stables here!
For my pandaren hunter: http://i348.photobucket.com/albums/q332/pinkcowbell/petlist_zps5707ccc4.png Current stable is above the red line. A bit of wishful thinking below the green :p I am not looking forward to naming all these guys. I still havent named all the pets I currently have. Apparently I r...

Re: More griefers while rare hunting?
*flying over Sholozar Basin to get to EoE* And then I get a VERY VERY rude whisper. I was barely inches away from the invisible wall ceiling, and this guy just whispers me out of nowhere. I have reasons to suspect it must have been an addon or something, because it was the SECOND I entered the zone...

Re: Snowy Owls?
Time is now 8.15pm. I have found 5-6 owls, nothing like the numbers I found last night. I think it doesn't matter what time it is, they just have an obscene respawn timer.

Re: Snowy Owls?
I went out hunting them at midnight, they were all over the place. However they seem to have a very long respawn timer. I went through pretty much every owl in the zone looking for a rare. After 30 mins none had respawned. I think if you're not finding any someone has already gone through and got th...

Re: Where The Wild Things Are (MoP rare information)
I went out and tamed a goat from the veiled stair, tested it out and it didn't cast either. I even turned off all other spells and it never used it unless told specifically. Also tried Stompy again, still nothing.

he never does it for me either, and all I do is solo. Even against caster mobs.Kalliope wrote:Are you using him in a raid setting where the debuff is already covered?Danielfboone wrote:I went and got Stompy too but his Trample ability never goes off even though it is on auto-cast. Re: Random Pet Challenge [v4.0]
I was given Green Sporebat . Sporebats are only found in Zangarmarsh, kind of an odd place for a Pandaren to visit. Still, I like to explore so off I went. I first thought I would tame a young bat since they would be more likely to accept taming. Unfortunately none of them caught my eye, so I decide...
