It seems to be bugged for Alliance from what I've been told by people outside the instance yesterday. Horde should be able to get him just fine.

My tiny frog was reverted to be normal size. Anyone elses? I had him out as a pet so I'm wondering if it was because he was out?

Did you gain loyalty with the pet? Or did you take and hope you would get it off the bat?

I was using a scale hide as a tanking pet. I have actually started using a Corehound instead. Their moltenhide ability also heals them for the damage it does because of leech. Moltenhide + beastcleave + mend pet I'm pulling around 8-10 non elites with pretty good success.

They keep their curse aura after taming.

Atk Spd is 1.5

Osca the Bloodied @ 41.87, 62.65
Rare Spawn
ATK SPD is 1.738 with 15% Haste
He keeps his arrows in his body after taming.

Yellow Spider 1.0 w/ haste .777 auto attacking for 2.15m dmg. I have .777 @ 2.15m = 17.2k DPS

Spirit Beast Raptor 2.0 w/ haste 1.554 auto attacking for 2.15m dmg. I have 1.554 @ 2.15m = 20.2k DPS

This was testing with only the pet attacking for a set amount of damage. Same gear for both test.

When I try the macro string you posted it comes back as "nil 0"

Blizzard does have gray areas and they have said this before. Visual (non-game breaking, meaning you can still target the mob and the mobs "exploits" DO-NOT effect the pet or anyones game play) is ok to have, but use at YOUR OWN DISCRETION. Meaning if you think it is game breaking then don...

I bet you can get the Terracotta Guardians in Kun-Lai, the buff that they have remains after death called frozen.

So does that mean the aura only shows up in Dreadwaste when you have the buff on?

As far as I know, they had taken stats away from pets and they only get a percent of your main stats now, yes? I think this is what happened, I didn't play in Cata so I'm not 100% sure.

Back in Wrath Blizzard put out a statement saying it was "Ok" to tame for visual buffs, people started exploiting (via Blight hound, AQ boss bugs) this taming method so they tried to stomp it out.

It's no fixed because I got someone their Kung Din at like 4am cst, unless they have hot fixed it since then.

I believe Kung Din becomes available again after you get to exalted with Pearlfin
