Re: Beta 10.0 Beast Thread
I've now filled out the Lesser Dragonkin page with a few more models and looks: https://www.wow-petopia.com/family.php?id=lesserdragonkin These include four veilwings: feathereddragon_blue feathereddragon_green feathereddragon_orange feathereddragon_red What about the spectral veilwings from the Mi...

Re: Beta 10.0 Beast Thread
The taming pass hasn't yet been completed for Lesser Dragonkin. Besides that, the rep reward that grants the ability to tame them hasn't yet been implemented. I wouldn't expect it to be a Lesser Dragonkin, tbh. I did get a character over on the Beta to check it out and it's still "Can not be t...

Re: Beta 10.0 Beast Thread
Has anyone checked to see if the Winged Spiritstalker is tamable now? I see one in the Beast Warrens on live near 53:69 but I'm not currently able to log into beta to check.

Re: Shadowlands Alpha/Beta Beast Thread
Looks like a bunch of the new looks previously categorized as "untameable" are now tameable. For example, https://www.wow-petopia.com/look.php?id=cranebluewhite models are tameable on Wowhead now.

Re: Changes to Hunter Pet Families in 6.0
I just wish they'd ditch the stupid restriction that you have to wait until 69 to even tame exotics. There's all these low level exotics now and despite being (mostly) rare, and thus hunt-able, they're worthless as anything but xp-bait. Given that pet abilities scale, and that they've removed almos...

Re: Arrakkoa is based of ancient Indian civilization
I did wonder if it implies something about the early period of Night Elves. Maybe they had contact with the Pandaren and Mogu way back in their history. Even if it's Japanese- rather than Chinese-inspired, a lot of the architectural style of those cultures shares a common origin. They did have cont...

Re: Changes to Hunter Pet Families in 6.0
It looks like Spirit Beasts may be missing an ability; it feels like they should get another one to match up with the other exotics (I don't think they would consider prowl equal, but maybe they do?)

So what's the difference between a Dragonfly and a Hook Wasp, anyway? Are they in the same pet family?

Re: Alliance losing another town?
<--is a bit slow on lore, but... 1. what's this Karabor? 2. what does "we have Dalaran now" mean? (slow on lore, and never really played an Alliance toon in 8 years, at least, not higher than level 20) Karabor is Black Temple (i.e. the place you farm the Warglaives) before it got sullied....

Re: Alliance losing another town?
If the iron horde marches through Blasted Lands, I suspect the horde equivalent of Nethergarde won't be unntouched either. Well it's just an Ogre settlement in Blasted Lands which I think sides with the Iron Horde, and I think Stonard is assaulted. But if it got razed who would notice? And it would...

Re: Alliance losing another town?
I get WHY it's happening but I admit I find it pretty lame. We already lost Southshore in Cata, which I actually loved. Hopefully we get a brand new town to make up for it. To be honest I dont know if I'm horde or alliance atm anyways. Depends on all the new models and who I like best. XD There's n...

Re: Alliance losing another town?
Makes sense, the whole point of Nethergarde Keep is to defend against armies coming through the Dark Portal. It'd be unrealistic for the Iron Horde to take Upper Blackrock yet not take/raze Nethergarde Keep.

Re: Hydras WILL be tameable!!!!!
I'm not sure what y'all are worried about. Magmaw and Omnotron are both soloable now. Chimaeron's "kill you ability" doesn't trigger at the start of the fight. Chimaeron is soloable, albeit not as easily. Of course, all you need to do is stay alive until the first Feud and then it should b...

Well, I won't take the new riverbeasts or boars because they don't fit my style. I do think they look cool though.

Re: moving buffs around... RIGHT NOW yeah, maybe crit isn't the best, or mastery's useless or whatever. Where the coins will land -after- this is all over? I have absolutely no idea. For all I know, a crit buff might be exactly what we want. Also, none of these give multistrike, which is one of the...

Forget Deathgrip, we need Lifegrip. Pet picks up player and carries her over to you. We'll give it to dogs.
