Looks like they've started to add in Dire Beast summons. In Shadowmoon I've gotten Void Wolf, pearltusk, firefly, and one of the black owls:

Character copies are done in game now. You should see a copy character button on your character select screen. Unfortunately this doesn't work for EU accounts yet. You're stuck with premades for the time being.

I love these. So nice that Raptors have crit buff now too (usable in more situations)

This is huge for healers, and also caster DPS now that they can do less on the move in WoD. Also don't forget many raid teams have 2-3 hunters. If you chain these together you can have 18 sec of it with 3 hunters. Or if there's a periodic ability the boss does where it would be beneficial, the hunte...

The deferred rendering thing makes sense. I wasn't able to force MSAA no matter what I did. In the meantime, it looks like CMAA is the best...to my eyes anyway. I wouldn't mind a SSAA option, though at the resolution I run (2560x1440) I somehow doubt it'll run very well, even with my GTX 780.

Bugged beta pets are so fun.

I've sent in in-game feedback about this, but it's hard to determine how much that'll make a difference. To be honest, I think the vast majority don't notice things like this. As of this latest beta build, taming Chimaeron no longer works. You still get the "too calm to be tamed" error message, so I assume it's a bug and they're not removing the ability to tame. Has anyone else tried in this build?

I hate to spoil it, but I've checked and Tortos can't be tamed You can queue for MoP LFRs (even solo) in the seat of knowledge. Wing 2 starts right at Tortos.

Tortos isn't tameable. Not sure about Horridon yet (Jin Rokh was being a jerk), but I somehow doubt it. Also Cracklefang (lvl 91 mob in the vale) loses his special effects and sword when you tame him (big surprise there )

Congrats on the tame! It's really awesome. :) I have a question though. How did you manage to make a level 100 premade? I can only make a level 90 one.. Create a character on the mekkatorque server. It gets auto leveled to 100 along with full 660 ilvl pvp gear. The server is only meant for pvp test...

Makes sense to me. It's way too cool to be a generic spawn pet (IMO).

He is the boss at the end of an escort quest. First thing I did was see if if I could tame, and yeah, it's an Aberration. The Void Wolves in SMV are also aberrations which makes me wonder if the ones in Tanaan aren't supposed to be beasts. I guess we will find out soon enough, but i think blizz must...
