Re: Patch 12.1.0 - Curse of Ula'tek
If the feathers are separate from the body, that means that it's possible (not likely or guaranteed) that there could be bald skyfiends? Or are the wing feathers and head feathers connected in that regard? IE if they're bald, they just have no feathers anywhere? This one is so good, but I'm not gett...

Re: Show & Sell Your Dragons
Only had eight eggs in my recent fodder batch, bunch of lazy dragons, but these two stood out because they actually looked good out of the egg. https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/1105157/110515639_350.png?mtime=ZAAAAAAAAAA[/imgg] https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/1105157/110515648_350...

Re: Patch 12.1.0 - Curse of Ula'tek
Unfortunate that they went with the boring choice, but at least they're not serpents anymore. Variety in pet families is a win regardless.

Re: Patch 12.1.0 - Curse of Ula'tek
If you want a red skyfiend, it's really easy to get by just going into a delve and recycling the nemesis packs (Grudge Pit is the best for this), since skyfiends can appear as one of the pack types. Comes in red and yellow, though shares a spawn with new wind serpents, writhes, and a giant maldraxxu...

Re: Patch 12.1.0 - Curse of Ula'tek
Yeah, it was a bit disappointing to find them that way. It's early in beta though, so there's always the chance to beg the devs to put it on a mob that's actually reachable lol.

Re: Patch 12.1.0 - Curse of Ula'tek
Oh, so that's where the grey-green and purple cobras were. Shake a pot, get snakes lmao. Also, found a tameable red serpent hydra... but it's not tameable. It's trapped in a cartography quest, so RIP. Flagged tameable on wowhead though, so if I ever find a way to break out like others found out with...

Re: Patch 12.1.0 - Curse of Ula'tek
So the only ones that aren't accounted for (as tameable mobs) are Pale Cobra, Red Serpent Hydra, Pale Pink Serpent Hydra, and Pale Pink Writhing Serpents. Definitely a good selection with only two skins locked to bosses for now. Regarding the modified writhe in the dungeon, I forgot about that one. ...

Re: Patch 12.1.0 - Curse of Ula'tek
I'm okay with pale pink hydra being limited to the dungeon boss, but only if they don't forget to flag it for later taming lol. The remaining green hydra should be used above ground somewhere. Maybe in the introductory quests (though FOMO exists in that case).

Re: Patch 12.1.0 - Curse of Ula'tek
The only colors we're missing on tameable mobs, as of the current PTR build (12.1.0.68301), are the following: - Grey-Green Cobra - Purple Cobra - Pale Cobra - Green Skyfiend (I think they were in the beginning of the new renown's quests, but I could be wrong) - Green Serpent Hydra (unsure) - Red Se...

Re: Show & Sell Your Dragons
Some more cherrypicked ugly fodder results. Didn't get a lot of eggs in the last batch, but these two are straight up ugly lol. https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/1103439/110343839_350.png?mtime=ZAAAAAAAAAA https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/1103439/110343845_350.png?mtime=ZAAAAAAAAAA

Re: Patch 12.1.0 - Curse of Ula'tek
Hah! Actually, we have a modestly decent number of new models, even if they're all snek-adjacent. It'll just be a while before I make a proper banner because I'm not sure which colours are going to to be available for each model, and also I just haven't had time! My vote is, if we still have five r...

Re: Patch 12.1.0 - Curse of Ula'tek
My headcanon is that the lack of beasts on the banner for the unlinked guide is a subtle jab at how there's not a whole lot of new models, and I'm sticking with that headcanon lol. While we didn't get a whole lot (yet, hopefully), I'm pretty excited for three of the new models. I just pray we get a ...

Re: Patch 12.1.0 - Curse of Ula'tek
I personally like how the new wind serpents have a second set of wings. They're a nice addition that don't take away from the overall silhouette. Plus, JUSTICE FOR WHITE/PALE WIND SERPENTS AT LAST. We lost our original white wind serpent, but the new red and white one is a spectacular (if not late) ...

Are there even wild venomfangs? I haven't seen any, unless I am just blind (wouldn't be surprising if so).

Re: Patch 12.1.0 - Curse of Ula'tek
I don't think they have a proper name ingame. The only two tameable variants, Destria (rare) and Venomgall Tyrant, don't really have any kind of title. Rav'i, the second boss of the Altar of Fangs, doesn't have any descriptor other than "ravenous hydra", though it clearly says [PH], so tha...

Re: Patch 12.1.0 - Curse of Ula'tek
The more I look at the writhes, the more flaws I notice. For one, the snakes just kind of blend together rather than look like a knot. They're mostly just flat textures on a slightly bumpy model, and while that's an easy way to save time and effort, the effect does not pay off that well. The thing t...

Re: Patch 12.1.0 - Curse of Ula'tek
Oh thank goodness their texture isn't botched like the cobras. I love the skyfiends. Question though; why do you think their venom isn't intrusive? Not that I dislike it personally, because I love how they're oozing green goo, but they have vibrant green mouths, torn open chests dripping with ooze, ...
