i don't know if this is new or old, but I spotted a new hyena combo while leveling a DK in fungal folly, it was the final boss named Maulspike, and it uses the silver body, black armor, I quickly noticed the pink highlights under the goggles, this is a screenshot of a Bioprinted version of the boss...

Any chance we might get some new Cloud Serpent colors tameable via the Lorewalking? I guess it is possible, but I wouldn’t count on it. Since we're likely to see the PTR updated to 11.1.7 soon, I've gone ahead and started this thread. There most likely won't be much to the patch, if anything, but we'll seen.

Yes, they still exist. Most of them phase out when the Nightfall Event is happening, though some can be found on the very far outskirts.

That's great! Did they add the remaining unused variants? Did they also add back the Voidstalkers?

I tamed a black lynx and it stayed black, so I don't think it is necessarily an issue with the black lynx or consistently so.

I'm pissed off I didn't think to check this weeks ago. I just did this quick scan in my head, and thought "nothing in those areas is unique" and completely forgot the lynxes :P I have full faith that they'll be restored at some stage. Just not sure how soon that is even possible. I imagin...

All of the old Nerubian beast variants are used at least once, so they would all be available to be tamed if flagged as such.

I'm honestly not sure. I haven't fed my pet food in a very, very long time since it really isn't necessary, at least on Retail WoW. Mend Pet is more than enough. I cannot speak for Classic since I do not play it.

With Midnight coming up and us returning to Eversong and Ghostlands, and there also being a reasonable chance of us traveling to the Arathi Empire, I'm sure that the rest of the variants will be added.

The white lynx only has an armored version. Unlike the other lynx colors, there isn't one without armor. The textures of some pieces of the armor are part of the whole model, so you cannot separate the two.

Some bad news about it. Currently, it has over a 30 minute respawn timer - looking like it might be an hour. It likely can be attacked and/or tamed by other hunters or killed by random people. It also comes in three color variants, so if one you want doesn't spawn then you'll have to wait again for ...

Also found a tamable armored lynx that uses the new color variants.

The Mourning Warlynx is found to the north of Dunelle's Kindness. Initially friendly, when you try to comfort the lynx it will push you away and you will then be able to tame it.

The Disturbed Trash Rat uses the old rat model and is tamable. It can be found in the Horrific Visions in Stormwind by interacting with a trash pile to the right of the Cathedral (when facing the building).

The moths aren’t anything special. The variants are already used on other tamable npcs

While true, you also gotta remember; this is modern Blizzard. These could just be out of place additions, much like those atrocious plush bear pets and mounts. Granted, these new models are actually cool unlike those bears, but still. Plus, if we were getting a nature/elemental themed patch soon(tm...
