This does make it better. As long as you get the mount on one character, then you unlock the pet and the druid form on others.

I think that pretty much confirms that it is supposed to drop only from Mythic Fyrakk. If it was supposed to drop on other difficulties, someone would've given a valid report by now.

It’s possible that they just don’t really care for the owl and have chosen not to tame it, or maybe the Armory hasn’t updated yet.

Well, we can't do much about them on the Discord or Wowhead, but if they continue to do it on Petopia then please let us know.

Based off of the description of the Crimson Glimmerfur mount for the December Trading Post, it looks like the red fox in Gilneas is intended.

Yeah, that's not a surprise, unfortunately. They either used some sort of bug to get the cinder or they are just photoshopping it.

I think that it should be said that since it has been over a day since reset on NA servers, if it was supposed to be unlocked on all difficulties after Fyrakk was killed on Mythic, then most likely many people by now would've reported it dropping.

I personally don't mind it being locked behind mythic. You have mounts, xmogs, titles, etc that have been locked behind mythic bosses for years. You have people that are hardcore mount collectors and, unless they run mythic or pay for a mythic kill, won't be able to get it for an xpac or two. Beside...

The last of the Spiked Mane Bakar variants has been added to the game. The Murkfur Alpha in Amirdrassil uses the black & tan variant and can be tamed.



Technically, there is still the Tan Spiked Mane variant that cannot be tamed, but it is used on an NPC.

I reported the Somnowl to Wain yesterday and he and I are aware of the Faerie Dragon. Thank you, though, for keeping an eye open for missed beasts
