Re: Bargast, Margore and Hecutis tamability in 11.00.
The war within is two expansions after Shadowlands, and right now dragonflight is two expansions after BFA. I guess there haven’t been any bfa bosses with a good looking model to tame, I wish the fetid devourer was tameable but we still don’t have it, the three armored nathria gargons are a bit diff...

Re: The War Within Beta - Beasts Thread
Don’t forget SV hunters, as a SV main I also don’t want to be stuck using a ferocity pet, I’ve tamed almost 100 pets and I mostly use only 5-10 ferocity pets in my stable. If I decided to use a pet from tenacity or cunning I would feel uncomfortable running around with them

Re: The War Within Beta - Beasts Thread
Crazy enough to say, many people did play Wow alphas and betas for fun. When I played on DF alpha/beta it was mostly hunter pet testing and evoker testing, but sometimes casually played with dragonriding. Once I get into the war within alpha/beta, I’ll probably test hunter pets like always, and prob...

Re: Which pet should Dracthyr Hunters start with?
Dracthyr hunters can start with their very own Elongated Vorquin, Infused Phoenix, or a Failed Dracthyr Experiment, theres a lot of other dragon isles beast that can possibly fit, but these are great imo

Re: Which pet should Dracthyr Hunters start with?
The lesser dragon that would make most sense is the vorquin, number one, they are used as mounts for dracthyr, and two, they are more widespread, but dracthyr should also have the skill unlocked by default if a new player hasn’t played DF and decides to make a dracthyr hunter

Re: The War Within Beta - Beasts Thread
This is the first expansion that I haven’t seen any huge and bulky tameable beasts. Ferocity currently is lacking new looks but the whip scorpion spiders look awesome, I also want a little nerubian spider too. I gave up hope on pet spec changes, but more ferocity families would be great

Once the time comes, definitely those beavers, more skunk colors, and the emerald dream shrews and red pandas

Re: The War Within Beta - Beasts Thread
There’s also older beasts I think should become tameable it would make the most sense to do so Deepflayers Mandagoras Wilderlings Old nerubian spiders and flyers Animites, Maulers, Gorgers Soul Eaters Skeleton horses Feywings Grubs Slugs There’s a lot more than I think but those were what I could fi...

Re: The War Within Beta - Beasts Thread
I checked out the different beasts in their families on beta wowhead db, they are mostly perfect except for the unicorns, they were placed under stags, I’m pretty sure they should be coursers just like their mystical dreamrunner cousins, stag family is being spoiled every xpac since SL and DF. So fa...

Re: Warthin Hero Talents
I noticed the hero specs for hunter uses a different type of magic in their spells
Pack Leader - physical/pet damage
Dark Ranger - shadow damage
Sentinel - arcane damage
I expected sentinel to have death Chakram and throwing glaives at targets but it’s more about sentinel with the owl, tyrande style

Re: Warthin Hero Talents
I gotta say something about pack leader, I love it, but I wish it had more temporary summons than just a CD button. Why call it pack leader if your not going to summon a lot of beasts, this is pretty good on BM, but on SV, it isn’t as oriented to summoning pets as, but the attacks look fun regardless

Re: The War Within Beta - Beasts Thread
They all look great, unicorn looks very weird, but that makes them cool. The animal shaped nerubian better be tameable, I’ve seen felbat rigged nerubian which are my favorites so far. They are back again with the different shapes on models, the moles rock them all, and finally we have an actual lynx...

Everything is so far so good, hopefully alpha will come within this or next week, I wanted to clarify that the mudskipper image you linked above is actually in the ringing deeps, not hallowfall

Re: 10.2.5 Beasts Thread
Unless some big miracle happens next expansion where unused or untameable looks are added like those cloud serpents or skeletal horses and soul eaters, I’m not really counting on it happening since DF was lackluster when it came to old untameable creatures. As much as I want these pets I’ll stay pat...

Re: Hunter Stable Updates in 10.2.7
I think the sorting, search and favorites are the cherry on top for this new UI, I disliked the idea of setting up pets on slots based on family, and spec. Now I can just see them all by search and by sections

Re: Hunter Stable Updates in 10.2.7
I’ve also been using Improved stable frame for a while, and I’m going to be happier with the new one, I suspect the addon caused some problems on my PC, the new one also feels cleaner and again, no more sorting, all will be categorized and I can select favorites

Re: Hunter Stable Updates in 10.2.7
That new stable ui looks great, makes it look more like modern wow, and I don’t have to sort anymore pets now that war within is coming up, and I think the favorite pet system is a huge W. I have loads of pets I love, and now I can actually select the best as favorites

Re: Anyone miss the older models?
Another updated beast with some good and flaws, the black color and the new face and scales make the beast look mighty, the flaws are the missing back armor plating by the neck and those awful new cartoon feet. They could have made the feet more ferocious looking and make the back plating match thei...

Re: Thrill of the tame!! The rush! Missing :(
I was pugging it up but didn't talk to my groups about the tame because I didn't think they would cooperate though I am sure a guild run or hunter only run something like that could work. I think you only need around 10 people to get to Affected Wildlife Yeah that’s the thing. I try to do it solo b...
