It took me probably about 30-40 kills of Siltstalker to tame Banescale. I only saw him spawn twice, and the first time he was immediately attacked by somebody else and I couldn't get aggro to tame. I've spent the last several days on this but thank goodness it's over.

hi! I'm sorry if this has been posted before but I tamed nevermore tonight on a whim and discovered that the glitch with his skin has finally been fixed! This deterred me from playing with him in the past so I'm very pleased. Hope others like this change too!

Ahh that’s so exciting! I like the broad color range. It’ll be so nice to have another corporeal spirit beast but which also has a nicely detailed model. I’m excited for the brown one too, as I’m quite sick of all my pets being in color ranges that are so boring to match mogs with.

I would love for the essence swapper to work the way it did before so we can have any existing tameable model as a spirit beast. But I would certainly still be pleased with being able to use it to swap his colors.

The game didn’t register you abandoning the raptor. Abandon him again, relog, and eventually your stable will populate with the cat. If you don’t do this, it’ll be a continual problem. I’m gonna farm blood trolls and that “rare” crawg when I get a chance. Might just be like the Dinomancy tome.

I’ve found that skyscreamers that are perched when you tame them do not fly. Skyscreamers that are flying when you tame them will fly when idle.

Edit: this must have been a temporary bug upon taming; after stabling my new friends and bringing them back out, they no longer fly at all.

My tank friend will be queueing with me ASAP. I’m excited!

I think there’s also a macro to feed from specific backpack slots but I’m not sure what it is and most people use addons that sort bags nowadays, so it wouldn’t be very reliable.
