I'm curious too...where you looking for permanent piercings, or temporary ones? I know some are meant to stick around for a long time (ears, nose, etc) while others are temporary (a day to a week or two). Might give you more options.

I tend to horde my cooldowns and save them for when they're REALLY REALLY NEEDED. Which for me is bosses (if I know one is coming up), or like Ryai said, if I know an especially tricky pull is coming up. Totally agree. When I was touring Kalimdor on my baby troll druid I went to Dustwallow after the amazing changes in the Barrens to see what they did next. The first few starter quests were the same. Okay, no biggie. Maybe they'll tie into some new things or maybe I just need a new level first. Hrm.....
