Re: Twitch Drops Question

I found that the twitch thing needs to be the tab you have open to even register. You can have it in a different window if you want, but it has to be the active tab of that window. Otherwise it wont count. I wonder if this is browser-specific behaviour then, because I can tell you that with Firefox...

Re: Vorquin foal taming?

There's no exploit involved and they do nothing gamebreaking, it's very unlikely that Blizzard will remove them and it never happened for that kind of tames. Unless they choose to be even more rude, it will prolly never happen. I agree, I just don't like to speak in definites without knowing with c...

Re: Twitch Drops Question

Yeah, like I said, I doubted the tab or mute have much effect because I regularly watch Twitch channels muted and in the background and I still get drops just fine, but I figured I'd mention it just in case it was a factor. I actually ended up getting both rewards today (the Portal and the Mount), e...

Re: Vorquin foal taming?

Update with today's patch: the baby vorquin that we have tamed are safe and unchanged, the wild ones are no longer tameable, so we have a retired grandfathered pet.

To me it would be cruel to change or take them away later if they weren't already today, so I think it's a good sign.

Re: Twitch Drops Question

That's really strange, I haven't encountered any issues like this and I use Twitch Drops quite frequently from some other games I'm active in. I don't really know how to go about troubleshooting, but my only suggestion that I've seen others talk about is to try having the stream open and unmuted in ...

Re: Vorquin foal taming?

Quick question for anyone with PTR access. Does the foal change to a normal Vorquin on the PTR or will we have to wait until the patch drops to know? They remain unchanged on the PTR as of right this second, so it seems reasonable that will still be the case tomorrow. They could always change it la...

Re: Vaniik the Stormtouched

Ahh, I don't remember (this happened back in January), but I expect nothing out of the ordinary happened because it was such a basic and easy tame, the hardest part was waiting for him to appear!

Escorts are always tricky when it comes to tames though, I hope your next attempt goes smoothly!

Re: Vaniik the Stormtouched

Huh, that's odd as I didn't have to do anything special. My character wasn't 70 if that makes any difference, but I'm pretty sure I just flew up into him to grab aggro, landed, then channeled Tame Beast as usual.

Re: Vaniik the Stormtouched

I picked him up on one of my hunters, have no idea of the spawn timer but I just sat there few a few hours and eventually he popped up. Sorry I can't give you much more info than that, but I can confirm he is tameable and does appear.

Re: 10.1 Beasts Thread

Smoldering Hound is properly tameable as an exotic core hound! This thread is long so apologies if this isn't new, I didn't see any results doing a search for them

Yay!!! I'm so glad the pink/purple mouse showed up. I hope it might be the same for the purple cobra.

Re: The one headed corehound!

The source is the 10.1 PTR, which was separate to the 10.0.7 PTR and you can tame the one-headed core hounds in that. That could change, as could anything on the PTR, but it's highly likely they'll be coming in 10.1. As for pet names, you are clearly not understanding what we're saying. We know you...

Re: The one headed corehound!

You can't put spaces in pet names. People tamed Slurpo at the beginning of the expansion, and he retained his title name, which you can't give to another snail. Anyways, here's my "lying" Slurpo I guess.

Re: The one headed corehound!

Lol, this guy has to be a troll.

But yes Slurpo was in fact tameable, I have him myself as proof. You can't name a hunter pet with his full name and title, but people who got him before Blizzard changed the behaviour still have him, so of course Petopia would made an edit to reflect that.

Re: The one headed corehound!

This is a very confusing argument to try to parse through. The page clearly states "Upcoming Looks", which a clock icon beside the pet name to indicate that it is not yet live. The information is scouted by the community in the beta patches, Wain does a great job at compiling all the data ...

Re: (Create) Passive Sound Addon

I don't have any knowledge of how to make addons, but you could try posting this in places like the WoW forums or the subreddit perhaps, or look into addon communities where you might find more people with the capability?
