Camping Fidonis-the white demon dog-for over a week now. Log into the game 4 mins after they say that the game has gone live.

And of course there is already a hunter there who tamed him. *cry*

First pet in your stable is the one summoned by the talent-so if you want to change it you do have to go back to a stablemaster or be an engineer and have the item that lets you access your stable.

I personally am going through today and going to tame a handful of the pets that I know I will want once their looks are updated.

Are any of the new pets found in the old world going to be tameable in the prepatch perhaps? I am curious to see if anyone knows or has tested this.

Such as: dreamrunners, pterrordaxes, diemetradons, and everything listed on the updated looks page?

I also had a Lot of hati transmog pets, including the SB fox, that I won't be needing anymore. Released all but three of them, as they are getting their model changed and I want to see the new look first. Wait what?! Reading that it sounded like you were saying the foxes were getting a model change?

Question: What about tamable versions of the void stalker that is the starter pet for the void elf hunter and the single head corehounds that (presumeably) a starter pet for the dark iorn dwarves? That they didn't realize how many things are yet untameable that probably ought to be (Dire Toads, Skyscreamers, alternate colorations of already tameable creatures) is a bit disconcerting to me. I was hesitant about the change and about how they said all pets are evened out in terms of health damage etc. I’ve found it to not be 100% truest least in terms of surviveability. My pets like the hyena die a lot faste...
