Re: Beetles!
So, as of yesterday's beta build, Beetles are Tenacity now. They still give the silithid buff.

Re: Pet skins that are still untameable
For the ravagers, CrawlerVar4 now has the option to spawn in the former dragon cave of Mazthoril in Winterspring. The mob is called Lost Ravager. They're currently untameable, but it's a start. At least the skin is in game now.

Re: Shy-rotam no longer spawned.
Don't you have to do damage to Shy for Sian-rotam to spawn? Ack, you know, you're right. For some reason I thought it was the other way around, since it's been awhile since I've done the quests. I'll do the quest later to find out if Sian still spawns. We have Eche still, but that could cut the ava...

Shy-rotam no longer spawned.
Yay for more beta winterspring changes. For those looking for the Riding Tiger Aqua skin, Shy-rotam seems to no longer be tied to Sian-rotam. He now just chills under frostsaber rock (presumably for a quest). He still fears, which interrupted the first tame, but you have plenty of time to tame after...

Winterspring Screechers are White! Plus a new dark brown!
Greetings greetings! I come with news that will be happy to some. Although the winterspring owl (http://www.wowhead.com/npc=7455) is still grey, the winterspring screechers (http://www.wowhead.com/npc=7456) are white again! Plus, there's a very stunning looking dark brown owl quest mob that flies ar...

Re: Beta Request: Qirot, tameable yet?
I can confirm that last build he was not. The build that dropped yesterday, I haven't seen him since. However, the other silithids in Feralas still aren't classified as beasts either, so I'm guessing he still isn't. I'll keep an eye out though. I love the skin as well.

Re: What's Up With AQ?
My take would be that since it's now possible to fly in the old-world, the outdoor raid zones have to exist and take up space on the surface "properly". So, I'd imagine the non-instanced zones to be empty or only contain your average variety of mobs, while the instances still have their b...
Re: Mongress
Been through a few times since they finalized the zone, and I haven't seen Mongress, Olm, or Death Howl. She may be moved a bit if she's still there... if memory serves me right I think they put a twilight or satyr camp in her spawn area. I'll keep checking though.

Re: Deep Borers and other colour changers
Just did a quick run through of some. The Rip Blade Ravagers in BeM, both type of Raptors in ZD, and the cavedweller worgs in Storm Peaks are still all color changers. I was on my way to icecrown when I got DC'd, and it's bedtime anyway, so I'll check those worgs and the rhinos tomorrow if someone h...

Re: White Worm?
Well, in regards to currently being unable to tame them in the PTR, they did say that they hadn't changed around any of the zones or mobs yet. So there's a chance for the "real" 4.0 patch to bring about the full cata changes, at least to the old world, not just the character abilities. (I'...

Re: White Worm?
FOUND ONE! The flesh eating worms are tameable with a little bit of haste and the faster tame time. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v65/Ummeiko/screenshots/whiteworm.jpg It's a little tricky, but not as complicated as the ghost wolves were. You're going to want at least 10% haste. (I can't tell yo...

Re: White Worm?
Some bad news.
The Cadaverous Worms in Dire Maul (once I finally found them - they spawn from a mob), are NOT considered beasts, and therefore NOT tameable.
At least not in beta. Haven't ever gone to check in live.

Re: Silithid Colossi tameable once again!
Okay so, I found Harakiss finally. (Haarka was up at the same time, btw, so definitely no shared spawn timers). He's big, but considerably smaller than Ainamiss - about the size of a post-tamed Ainamiss. Harakiss, however, does not get any smaller after you tame him, so both would be the same size a...

Re: Silithid Colossi tameable once again!
Just a little to add. I tamed Ainamiss Sunday evening around 6:30 central time, which was 4:30 Realm Time (lost isles). Saw her again tonight (Monday night/Tuesday Morning), around 12:30 server, which was about 6 hours after our last server restart. So it's possible she may spawn semi often, but ser...

Re: Pet skins that are still untameable
If they turn the silithids in Feralas into beasts, as they have done in Tanaris, then we may have a white silithid flyer (and outside of AQ). There is a rarespawn, Qirot, who uses that skin. Currently in beta though, still not a beast, so not tameable.

Re: People in beta: Have you seen this bird?
I haven't seen it yet. My guess, along with everyone else, is if anywhere, it will be in Uldum (although, they haven't finished Silithus yet so that's an option I suppose). My hunter's not quite there yet, but my paladin can start questing in Uldum, so I'll keep a lookout.
