Re: The future of exotic pets
And Blizzard can make Exotics BM-exclusive without talents. Just make them a reward for choosing BM as your main spec. Kill Command works the same for all three specs, but BM hunters get the talent that lets us consume our pet's Frenzy stacks to give ourselves even MORE ranged haste. Combine this wi...

Re: The future of exotic pets
Well remember Exotics are being given a third ability, ontop of their 'Class Spam' and their Racial/Class Debuff. And maybe Blizzard realized 51 points for something subpar compared to shots was so not worth it- and also suspect MM would get their shots off the bat, and SV is getting theirs as well...

Re: Hello all! (and let's talk Spirit Beasties)
(fiery mist, bubbles, leaves and petals, bits of lava or rock flaking off) Neat idea...like, say a spirit stag that leaves growing plants behind it druid-style. That'd be cool, like the spirit creature from Princess Mononoke. Heck, they could name the Spirit Beast stag after him =D Wind Serpent who...

Ahn'Qiraj, C'thun's raid. And I'm still cheesed that we can't ride them anywhere except in the dungeon, and only one person per server got the black one 4 frigging years ago.

Re: The future of exotic pets
All pets are being equalized, so there's no real advantage. Besides, MM outdoes BM even without a pet.

Re: The future of exotic pets
They'll figure out a way to make it work. I doubt they'll leave Beast Mastery as a "Be able to tame Exotics" if you can't get it till 70. What I hope is that they make taming Exotics available as a BM-only ability that you can do as soon as you open the tree, and retool the BM talent to gi...

Re: Cataclysm Talent System - Completely Changed
What I think they might do is incorporate the more passive buffs that won't be affected by Mastery in the skills themselves, and they'll gain the buff and increase as you level. Like at lvl X you learn the skill, then at Skill Rank X the buff appears, increasing every X skill levels.

Re: get your silithids soon.
I really hope that they implement the larger stables before Cataclysm. I do NOT want to let any of my pets go, much as I want to save a Silithid.
In the worst case, I could release my Devilsaur since he's more easily replaceable, but he's also my raider.

Re: Hello all! (and let's talk Spirit Beasties)
So I noticed XD Ah well, I know Loque's not appealing to all. The families I'm really hoping for to have SB reps are Silithid, Chimaera, Devilsaur, Wind Serpent and Tallstrider. Maybe since they'll be in the lower continents they'll have more varied skins and effects, like a magma-skin, a rocky skin...

Hello all! (and let's talk Spirit Beasties)
Hello everyone! Long-time lurker, recent fresh meat! Love Petopia and glad that us hunters have a place to be. I bring a gift: my five current pets. Yes, I have all four of the Spirit Beasts! :D And quite a tale that was. I tamed Gondria first, three weeks ago. A week later, I found Skoll, Arcturis ...
