Sorry, I don't feel sorry for them. Casters and hunters to a lesser extent have their own movement issues.

Right now, hunters are ~8th in the pack of best dps. Buff the melee silly, and we will slip further down. 20% buff to melee AP as the AP pools increase while hunters stay at 10% is not going to end well.

Orc racial no longer affects ranged attack power, only melee. Trueshot Aura and Abom's Might give melee 20% ap, hunters, only 10%. There are no buffs to our abilities as far as mmo can tell. If you aren't ready and another person is, they have every right to get rolling.
If you die on a tame attempt, you are no longer ready (you are dead), and the next hunter has every right to try.

I mostly go in an order of what buffs are missing going from cat -> wolf -> wind serpent -> ravager -> then tallstrider if all of those are covered. Oh, the BMs are going to kill you. It's their shiny trophy and how dare you let other specs use it. I agree that MM/Surv should have access to the pet, but not the ability; i.e. spirit mend.

I just think a set number of new pets granting 1 slot would be ok; I like the 3:1 pet:slot ratio and someone on the officisl boards had that idea as well. It makes the collectors happy but it doesnt let hunters get every pet they want.
