You need to be level 69 to get to the bottom of the BM tree. The Kurken or the ones in Shadowmoon are easily tamed at that level, but the red ones might be a bit more tricky.

I hate to dissappoint people, but only low-level Goblins can tame these. The Lost Isles are completely phased, other races can't get there and goblins can't go back once they finish questing there. Although that might change, I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Going by the spreadsheet, the turquoise scorpids in the Southern Barrens haven't been seen in the beta. Unless that skin gets added to another zone, it looks like it will be going extinct.
