Could someone check to see if any basilisks have diets? I've checked quite a few and none that I've seen do. Unless they've created a basilisk pet family already, they'd probably do what they did with the stags and stick them in a current family. If so, they'd show up in an out-of-place family on W...

On this list of bear NPCs, I can only spot two that aren't actually bears: the Whitetail Stag and the Darkshore Stag. I scanned the various lists of pet families on cata.wowhead and the only other odd one I found was a hyaena named Slaverjaw is classed as a scorpid.

This is one I definitely can't check out, at least not without a large group. If anyone has made a bunch of friends on a beta realm and can convince them to run Ulduar up to Auriaya... There is an NPC called "Swarming Guardian" that, if tameable, would be the only "black gem" cat...

Thanks Dakender and Galahandra for checking them out! I now have a premade hunter on a beta realm, so I can do some testing now. It's a shame they're not tameable :( According to Wowhead it apparently shares the new skin with another new NPC called "Squawky Jr." But there's no info on that...

Sorry to be such a pain If it's too difficult, please don't waste much time on it. It's just that I got into the beta and was hoping to use it as a guide to see what previously-untameable skins might be tameable now.
