Turning on Warmode can often help with rares and difficult to find creatures as well with little to no competition. However, the risk is higher if there DOES happen to be completion actually there.

I'd like to enter if possible. If not that's totally okay.

Try dragging one of your active pets into one of your stable slots that you know would have a pet and see if that makes anything visible. I know I had an issue similar to this at one point and it turned out to be some weird visual bug.

The site has been working on lag issues for a couple of days. They have something on the Site Status.
Its been a few days though so I'm not sure whats happening to cause this.

There are a few spirit owls out there. I don't believe any of them are one chance to tame things.
Just keep camping, switching to WM and phasing to other servers to check for the rare owls. :>
