Shouldn't be too hard to verify if he's still around. He was one of the easier to find rare mobs, partially because the few people that ventured that way were of a low enough level to get torn to shreds by Timber's wolf pack. Hence, I don't think he has a despawn timer, just a longer than usual spaw...

Gimlion, I doubt you have to worry about the latter. The 'ghost wolf' Spirit Beast is bound to be a completely different NPC than the tBC wolf was. In other words, they will share the same skin but have two separate IDs.

I encourage you to simply stable the ant, since I'd hate to see you throw it away only to change your mind later. That, and your ant ought to serve as a 'stupid parlor trick' when you're in a group and waiting for whatever reason. That said, if you're unable to abandon your pet in the narrow window ...

So, worms are a Tenacity pet family that's intended to be a DPS pet family
I plan on taming a second chimaera, and experimenting with making it a soloing tank of sorts.

Nice! I was able to tame my first and only Spirit Beast, Arcturis, because a leveling priest announced over the general channel that he had spawned.

Well, silithids have always tended to be rather large when tamed. I know that my Cyfaillid is pretty much the only pet of mine that actually grew upon being tamed. The 'brain bugs' were absolutely HUGE when they were first tamable on the Beta, as shown here.

Oh, I think I was in my offspec (mainspec is BM, offspec is MM). Silly me!

Huh, I have issues with my ant silithid, but very different ones. When I summon him, he appears as normal, then... simply disappears. In effect, he despawns within seconds of being spawned. No error message, nothing.

My ant is bugged!
