Re: Fellow Hunters, what is/are your other favorite class(es

I've just leveled a resto shammy to 85 for Petopian Alliance (Anniah, a draenei), and I love her. Currently she's dual specced resto (PVE/PVP). I like that since she's another mail wearing class I can use outfits I thought about for Mindala, and I like healing 5-mans and PVP with her. It's a complet...

Re: Considering PvP...

It's worth remembering that even if you can't kill the self-healer, you can force them to spend all their time healing themselves instead of healing others or hurting others.

Re: The First Pet Your Character(s) Bonded With?

There's kind of two for me. My first pet for Mindala was a grey Durotar boar, named Baradis (one of the names of Elbereth, from Tolkien). A purely practical choice, rather than any aesthetic one, but he went with me for most of my levelling time and I still have him. He's a great tanky pet, and his ...

Re: Replacement tanks & healers...

When I heal, it's this priority: (1) Me: if I die so does everyone else; (2) The tank, since if they die probably everyone else does; (3) the DPS players; (4) Pets of any variety (hunter pets, mage elementals, warlock demons, etc.) I try to keep everyone alive if I can, but players who don't underst...

Re: Replacement tanks & healers...

Yes, the people who do this deserve credit & a glass raised in their honor.

And while hunters can't do this (being a solely DPS class), our Tenacity pets sometimes do a hell of a job when a tank unexpectedly quits in the middle of a pull or the healer hits lag and can't save the tank.

The gold wings match the gold on Mindala's pauldrons, which I think is why it works better. Now for a name ...

Re: Red/orange/black theme?

Well, I got the red windserpent but I'm not sure if it's too red, so I'm getting the orange as well to compare.

Thank you! Some nice ideas to go a-hunting for.

Oh, I forgot to mention I had the beautiful Slaverjaw (as Pommeia) already too.

Red/orange/black theme?

I am thinking about a major redo of the pets on my main hunter, Mindala, to match her transmog set: http://forums.wow-petopia.com/download/file.php?mode=view&id=16844&sid=6c356fa65a1e1f1029fd12a28fe0cfaa I've had this set for a while and am completely happy with it, and I'd like to find some...

Loque was up at about 8:30am Pacific time. Nobody seemed to want him, no other hunters in area.

Re: Sick Of Pet HP Bug

I doubt it was intended at the time for this to be the all-time fix, it sounds way hacky. A quick rush-job that never got replaced by a good one.

Re: Considering PvP...

The PvP hit cap is less, because players can't be higher than 85. Get enough hit to have 0% miss against level 85 enemies and no more. Especially, make sure to keybind your 'oh crap' abilities. Some of those you probably don't want on your main action bar, but you should bind them to something. I ha...

Yeah, I run adblock too. There have been just too many times that bad ads have introduced malware. What makes it worse is that the online ad companies could do a lot better about ensuring safety, and they don't.

Re: WoW-Related OCDs

On the races where the sitting position is a kneel, I always do it while waiting for a battleground to start. I feel like they're praying to their gods / the Light / their ancestors for victory.

Re: Sick Of Pet HP Bug

What it sounds like is that this change was put in as a quick band-aid to block an exploit and then nobody ever went back and fixed the issue properly. A bad oversight, made worse by the fact that this code hasn't been worked on in a long while so it never got fixed in the process of a rewrite. I've...
