Three Spirit Beasts, looking for names!
Yeah, more names for my troll's pets. This time, Arcturis, Skoll and Loque. Here's the story. First off, Arcturis. I was always enchanted by his looks, perhaps it's the bright face. Anyway, as soon as I heard about him I knew I needed this bear. At first I was planning to just sit and camp, but he n...

Re: Pets that you have never liked/never would tame
Hmmm. Let me think... Bears - they're tremendously adorable, until they run. Something about a big butt swirling around in my face just doesn't say "Giant ferocious beast". Wind Serpents - I love the model to DEATH. But when they fly, something about how they get all straight... Just not e...

Re: Change for the Better: Old Alpha Screenshots
I love that old female troll model. Very.. troll. Whenever I thought of female trolls, I always thought of them as basically male trolls that where a bit slimmer, with a female face and all that. But still hunched, still with the awesome crouching sit... Not the thing we have now. Not saying I don't...

Re: Crappy Groups
Woo, a place for me to yell and scream about that bloody ZF run last night. I was on healer duty, and our tank was a druid too. More fun that way, you know. Paladins don't need almost any healing these days it seems. So we were going along and killing, winning, killing. Right before the event with t...

Re: In Memory.
Such a beautiful cat.
Putting down animals is aways horrible for the person, but the animal is being spared a lot of pain. In the end you just need to realize that you're trying to help, and doing it out of love.
Very sorry for your loss. RIP, Rikku.

Re: Old school camping
I have a bit of experience camping. First I camped Araga, logged on every hour or so for a week to finally find her. Then I looked for Loque'nahak, found him later - on a different hunter. Gondria too. Found her, on the wrong hunter again. Uhk'loc as well. He didn't take too long, popped up pretty f...

Re: Involuntary WoW Burnout
I have yet to be really told off by anyone, probably because I don't trust my skill enough to actually heal or tank. I just DPS, and I don't raid. However, I witnessed a DPS - bless his bloody moron soul - that had a skull as thick as the earth and had somehow filled it with cold, moldy tapioca. We ...

Ugh.
Guide to taming Arcturis - log on BEFORE some random person kills him and leaves his body right below the place you logged off at.
-.- Maybe next time.

He jumped out and landed on a Proto-drake, who landed on the ground.
Then ate him.
AKA, I have no clue.

Oh, hay, I didn't know this. I need to tame one now.The Boss Skin, which the Hive Queen also uses, remained unaffected. Meaning the drones shrink but the other wasps, purple-blue-black deal, do not.

Can't think of many today. Out of those, I'd say Shiverleaf is my favorite.

Re: New Pets for different roles
Tho be careful as that one species of wasp still tameable and using the boss skin remains huge. Actually, I think that was fixed. I tamed one a little while ago and it was pretty small. People who tamed the Hive Queen a while ago get to keep the HUGE wasp, though. (Lucky them, it must rule in Arena...

Agreed, I've always liked that spider, and I never ever see it.I also never see anyone using the Lava Tarantula skin for spiders, and I always thought it was a rather cool model.

I'm loving the name Parian for my lion!
Keep 'em coming, and great names so far!
Volos for the Nuramoc might work - that hunter IS a tauren, after all.A god said to have ruled over/represented earth, underworld, dragons, magic, trickery, and... um... cattle. /shrug

LFN(ames) - Nuramoc and Echeyakee!
Two of my new pets need names. The first pet is my tauren hunter's new Chimaera, Nuramoc. Took a few days of logging on and off every hour to find him, but I just love him. For a name, I would like a name that is somewhat short and simple, 'though it doesn't have to be in English. For instance, that...
