I think that the reason, perhaps, that hydras have not been made tameable is that they are water living creatures. The only exception to that rule seems to be crocodiles, and they do hang out on land in real life after all (in varying degrees). Hydras don't really seem to be made for walking, so to ...

I thought Terrorpene was a Spirit Beast the first time I saw him, but I'm glad that he's not. It gives MM and SV hunters something fun as well. Not everything awesome should go to the BMs, after all (even though I always play BM myself).
