Re: The Little Beetle That Could!
<Idealistic History> just finished our midnight taming run for all our hunters at a high enough level to go to Naxx in the first place. After *quite* a few tries, (aka wipes) me, Seabaston, and Patrika all got our cute little beetles! I named mine Puck, after both the character from A Midsummer Nig...

Re: Two Suggestions(Tame Beast and TLPD/Aeonaxx)
@Sgt. Makkie: Yes, the game is called World of Warcraft, but that doesn't automatically mean that all interaction in the game has to be hostile, even on pvp servers. My main server, Alterac Mountains, is pvp, and sometimes I don't want to bother with it - I'd rather just get quests done in peace. I ...

Re: Warlock Demons - A Choice on Gender
To be honest, I think good old Skelshetor the Felguard is plenty sexy enough for Emielee -- he's a musclebound, giant axe-wielding demon that slaughters all in his mistress' name, without question, without annoying feelings like guilt or a sense of honour getting in the way. He's like a Forsaken gir...

Re: Cerah's New, Unexpected Friends! Edit: Valentines Bear!
Spirit Beast #5 - Ghostcrawler! After seeing the absolutely adorable Crabby from Blizz's April Fools Joke, I wanted to get its inspiration for myself. So my boyfriend and I started the search. He's recently been leveling his hunter, Seabaston, up via archeology. It's really quite nice. Seabaston is ...

Re: Araga, now officially on the "DO NOT TAME" list.
There is a pretty simple solution now if you want a cat with Araga's looks, but don't want to take her away from her kittens / kill said kittens.
Just tame one of the Araga look-alikes in the Southern Barrens.
You might not have a sparkly rare, but you can tame guilt-free

Re: Raiding Hunter Needs a Cat!
It sounds like you only want a cat because your guildies are pushing you into it. If you really don't think they suit your hunter, don't tame one. It's as simple as that. Besides, if your raid group has a Death Knight, Horn of Winter will make the cat's Roar of Courage redundant anyway. Two of the p...

Re: Which pet family is most in need of a new model?
As a lot of you have already said, bats, bears and hyenas definately need more love, be that updated models or skin choices. I'd also like to see non-cobra snakes added to the Serpents family. The Dune Rattler in the beta was such a tease! As for more skins, I would love to see some more colour opti...

Wow, what a find! Keep it Acherontia! You can always farm gold for your Deathcharger, but a find like a cheap Hyacinth Macaw only comes up once in a while. You're almost as lucky as if you'd found it in Stranglethorn yourself!

Re: Blizzard Hints that Naxx Achievement Drakes could return
Slightly off topic: I chose to play devil's advocate earlier because I question this mentality of "cry more special snowflakes" when let's face it, many players want their toons to be special in some way. So why is it a bad thing? In more hunter related terms, isn't that why some players ...

Re: Blizzard Hints that Naxx Achievement Drakes could return
I started playing WoW halfway through WotLK, and it took me almost a year to reach lvl 80 on one toon. By the time I did, ICC was up, so not only were the plagued/black protodrakes no longer available, nobody on my server wanted to do anything *but* ICC. I never had a chance in hell of seeing these ...

Re: Warcraft Mounts Help Thread
The Ice Mammoths ( Alliance , Horde ) from the Sons of Hodir now only cost 1000 G before reputation discounts, down from 2500. I scrimpted and saved for this addition to my stables, only to find out it was like 1000 gold less than I was expecting. This really needs to be fixed. Is it just me, or doe...

<Idealistic History>'s Riddle Night -- Thanks Ryno!
I just wanted to give out a huge thank you to Ryno, aka Want and Greengreens in <Idealistic History> for arranging our first ever fun guild event, Want's Riddle Night! Almost the entire guild showed up, and it really was a blast! I know how busy you are with <Petopians>, so we're even more happy tha...

Re: Warlock Demons - A Choice on Gender
I like this idea, but my warlock, Emielee, is already so attached to all her demons, I coudn't bear to change them now, especially her voidwalker, Throkmon and her Felguard Skelshetor. I was devestated when their names got changed right after the Shattering. But, if got to keep our current demons, a...

I don't know about a skeltal protodrake mount, but I'd love to see an archeology-based Frostwyrm or Emberwyrm -- something to dig out of the ground in Icecrown or Dragonblight. Besides, I'd love to have a skeltal dragon of any kind available that you didn't have to get next-to-impossible to PuG achi...

Re: If your real pets played Warcraft...
My cat Sali is living with my bf right now while I'm away at school, but I know what he'd play:
A rogue. He loves jumping on people without warning (especially on feet when you're trying to sleep) and stealing things.

Re: The most creepy thing/place in WoW?
I just found another place that's got all the more creepier after the Shattering, the Quel'Lithien Lodge. Featured in the WoW fanfic contest winning story "In the Shadow of the Sun" , and apparently considered official lore, since Blizz is due to post it on their Leaders Short Stories webp...
