Re: Thread of Accomplishments

My achievement of the morning: finally reset my password. I do this every time my phone and/or computer forget my login info. The password rules for this site make it difficult for me to ever remember it; the only password I can manage to remember that meets the requirement is used for financial acc...

Re: The Random Thoughts thread

I never got why kinder surprise's are banned in America do you guys just hate fun? Fun is indeed banned here in the States. Weak, dim people complain about things until they are changed or outlawed. Example: in my area, Halloween was renamed (to harvest festival or something, i forget) and th...

"I believe there are monsters born in the world to human parents…. They are accidents and no one’s fault, as used to be thought. Once they were considered the visible punishments for concealed sins. And just as there are physical monsters, can there not be mental or psychic monsters born? The f...

Re: Hunter Talent Updates

I'm surprised this wasn't brought up (or maybe I missed it), but blink strike becoming passive is (in theory, I haven't played the ptr) potentially a pretty major nerf to BM pvp. Everyone is all stoked about it (and I do look forward to having a keybind back), but the changes mentioned in this threa...

Re: Red signs outside the homes of convicted sexual predator

The following statements refer to true child predators- the ones who knowingly prey upon children, not the ones who were lied to by consenting teen girls (though they should check IDs haha) or who woke up naked and hungover in a lawn as children walked past. With that out of the way... Child moleste...

Re: The value of drawing on paper (wordy)

These are all great responses and I really value everyone's point of view! My comment regarding the energy in the artwork was probably not very clear. What I meant was this: I believe that when you draw or paint on a physical surface (paper, canvas, or when you sculpt or craft etc) your energy is tr...

The value of drawing on paper (wordy)

Preface: this post may make me sound old. Don't worry; it makes me feel old, too. I also want to the reader to keep in mind that this is all purely my opinion based on my experiences, and is no way aiming to lessen or devalue anybody or their chosen medium. That said... The world these days has gone...

Re: It all starts Tuesday... who are you letting go?

It's going to be so hard to pick which pets to let go >.< One of my hunters has a good amount of stable space left so I'm going to "test drive" some basilisks and waterstriders on him to see what I like. I love basilisks in theory but I know there's a chance that something about them would...

Re: Now that 5.0.4 is on the horizon...talent choices? :)

I finally went through the talent calculator while I'm sitting here waiting for realms to came up (I also already made a warcraft pet account and added all of my toons to it to see how many pets I have - 96!), and there looks to be some very tough choices. I have a good idea of what I want to do, bu...

Re: Farewell, stat sticks.

I liked the look of many of my hunters' polearms, but overall I am very happy to see them go. They looked absolutely ridiculous on my worgen while using running wild, and I have no doubt that my undead will look better without it as well!

Re: All races playable despite expansion....

True. lol I guess I am annoyed that I had to upgrade to get races but now that is not necessary. xD I am not like pissy or anything. Just more annoyed I guess. :P You would have had to eventually buy all the expansions anyway. Anybody who wishes to play the full version of the game does. But new pl...

Re: Tamable beasts that make no sense

I know I am going to draw allot of ire from some people but in my opinion allot of pets make no sense, and some make very little sense. Pets that make no sense Wasps Moths Beetles Worms Shale spiders You're forgetting that this is a fantasy world, where many things are gigantic. Just because most o...

I was truing "Bad Medicine" but got a 'reserved' error, but Badmedicine worked. Bleh.
Out of curiosity, which pet? Seems like a great name for one of the oozelings :D

Re: Pet Naming?

Even though you can put spaces in names of companion pets, I am betting blizzard sees spaces in player controlled units as a slippery slope type deal - that if they allowed that, they might hear a ton of "well if hunter pets can have that, why can't players?" On a related note, I would lov...

Name change pretty please :)

I read that the best way to go about this is to make a post and flag it, so that is what I am doing :) I would like my username changed to Helsinki, if possible. If that one happens to be taken on these forums (I didn't check), then Helsingborg would be good. Swampfox is a character I haven't played...

It does seem to sit a bit taller now, but I haven't played with a tarantula in probably a year. Kalli would probably notice any difference. I like the smelly tweaks though if there are in fact any!

Re: Random Pet Family Appreciation Thread 27: Devilsaurs!

The first time I ever saw a devilsaur was on my level 35ish human warlock. That was my first real character and a level 60 hunter in the guild took me and a mage who was also about 35 on an adventure to Un'Goro Crater. He was farming leather and doing some fishing and while following him around (whi...
