Re: New pet/talent combinations planned

I am sure when MoP is released someone at Elitist Jerks or elsewhere will do some calculations and figure out what the best single target DPS pet is and what multi-target DPS pet is the best. While this "might" lead to some elitism it is nothing that doesn't happen already. Seriously, I ge...

Re: A common Spirit beast: a good idea?

Yes.

While there are some skins that are and should continue to be difficult to get ahold of, there should definitely be a skin that is common, or has a really fast respawn rate.

Re: What's your MOP main build going to be?

For my Goblin Hunter Zens I will be BM for both specs, one will be PvP oriented and the other PvE oriented. For my PvE spec: 15: Crouching Tiger Hidden Chimera (I prefer this solid cooldown reduction to the other 2 choices) 30: Wyvern Sting (For CC'ing two mobs at a time) 45: Spirit Bond (For consta...

Re: Aggresive Stance, do you want it back?

Yes. On the condition that the Assist Stance stays as it is quite useful in raiding and in groups. Each of them had its use, and Aggressive Stance was advantageous for my play style as it allowed me to multitask better when I was pulling multiple mobs. Let me explain. When pulling a group of four fo...

Re: Hunter Talent Update

That Narrow Escape thing lasting until cancelled (the target or the hunter?) must not be its final version. If it is until the target clicks it, then it will be worthless because it will be too easily removed and last not long enough. If it is until the hunter cancels it, well, we can just imagine h...

First, full stop, I would get his license plate number and report everything you can to the police. If you do not feel comfortable doing this yourself, have your parent(s) do it for you. This kind of behavior needs to be reported even if all the police are going to do is question them. You would be ...

Re: Who do you think will be the new Horde Warchief?

The Tauren being Horde gives the lie to the "horde = evil/nasty" story Alliance players like to tell themselves, that's for sure :D I am not sure if you are just being provocative with this statement, trying to start a discussion about the perception of “good” or “evil”, or if you state i...

Re: Sentient pets... an idea

Sentience is a product of intelligence and runs on a spectrum. This is obvious in the real world, and is evident in the WoW universe as well. I view hunter pets as pets in real life. Some people treat their pets like an equal, some treat them like a piece of furniture or worse. Like this there will ...

Re: Which unplayable races would you play?

I forgot to mention Mantids.
From what I have seen they seem to be a pretty cool looking race, so I would pick them as a playable race as well.

Of course, it could be just me.

Sigh. Does everyone remember that asshole I was talking about? The other day, when I was doing the christmas daily, ON christmas mind you, he was abusing the ability to have both Horde and Alliance characters on the same account Edit: Server. He apparently owns two druids, one horde, one alliance. ...

Re: Who do you think will be the new Horde Warchief?

She does what is necessary and required of the moment . And that right there is why she wouldn't make a good overall leader. She doesn't think of the future. The two are not mutually exclusive, far from it in-fact. I would argue that she both knew what the ramification were for her actions in Gilne...

Re: Who do you think will be the new Horde Warchief?

I guess I might be in the minority but I think an Orc is not the right leader of the Horde after Gorrosh. No other orc has really stepped up to the plate by showing initiative in trying to correct Gorroshs' mistakes, not Saurfang, nor anyone else. (At least I haven't seen it) Sure Saurfang said a bu...

Re: Considering PvP...

I guess I will put my two cents in. First off you can PvP as whatever spec you want BUT MM really shines. I am normally a BM hunter but all the burst damage, the utility that MM gives you while still allowing you to get entrapment, extra stamina and longer trap duration is what finally sold me. (I B...

Re: Lethal force in defense of pets

You are wrong. Using the data from your post (I am assuming it is accurate) of total intentional shootings 18.75% ended in a fatality. (12000 + 52000 = 64000) (12000/64000 = 18.75%) That is not a minor percentage. no, I'm not wrong. I didn't calculate only "intentional" shootings. but ALL...

Re: Lethal force in defense of pets

I guess I better post this since it may seem as if I am anti-gun. I am for responsible gun owners. I am one and I take the responsibility of having an object that can literally end someone very seriously. That is why this kind of roleplaying, what if question bothers me. Because the use of a firearm...

Re: Lethal force in defense of pets

2000 statistics give (I rounded the numbers to the nearest thousand): Non-fatal gunshots 52,000 deliberate 23,000 accidental Fatal gunshots 17,000 suicide 12,000 homicide that means that for the year 2000, 8% were fatal deliberate uses of firearm. Suicide does not count in what we are talking about...
