They will probably take down the servers. The rolling restarts were ONLY for the recent hotfixes, nothing more. They've always taken down servers for maintenance when an expansion is released. The Deadmine monkeys also constantly do the mining animation after being tamed.. Combine that with all the other factors and i'd get a monkey from DM only if you have the space in your stable to store him/her away until Blizz fixes them.
