it sounds like some players had it happen..some didn't. the past few on my server have been fine. Mine was fine, got it the day after i saw the wowhead post.

I wish hunters didn't kill other hunters while they tried to camp. I died a dozen times on the ledge in SW with my hunter trying for the gryphon. Always the same hunter and sometimes this other one. T.T

2. nobody has reported a ch mission involving something odd that might link something, like a feather, to the pet.

i am on my pos slowwww laptop, which has trouble playing..even on LOW, until next tuesday. *on vacation in the states with my mom, so i dont have my gaming pc*

Does she summon him at any point during any difficulty *outside lfr* when you encounter her in NH?

hmm..maybe it involves a hunter ch mission, where you get an item that takes you to NH...where you tame it?

I don't have much hope for finding a tameable scorpion on proudmoore since it's so high pop, but all the ones in the phase I'm in now are definitely not tameable, and I can't seem to get myself to phase back to proudmoore (because the group in group finder was also on a pve server).
