Re: Am I just missing this pet on the boards?

And until level 120, they are restricted to Horde hunters only.
I was sad to learn there was no equivalent beasty in Alliance territory (I DO have an Alliance toon or two who are slowly wending their way through the latest content.)

Re: Something I've Noticed

well, it's incredibly annoying having to get two weapons of a decent level when you dual-wield.
I miss my artifact counting as both my main and off-hand. (on my Rogue, and to a different extent, on my Prot. Warrior)

Re: REALLY squishy pets

My issue isn't with my pet dying during 3-man miniboss battles! It's with REGULAR mobs. The battle where I had to rez my pet 5 times, despite also having a Warrior with me on the fight, was a single-person mini-boss, not a multi-player boss. My ilevel is just under 300 (if i recall, like 295 or some...

Re: REALLY squishy pets

So there it is. Blizzard has, in effect, made it difficult for me to use the pet I WANT to use by making it entirely incapable of handling regular mobs. Like I said, today's questing SHOULD have been fun, the story was fun and all, but having to rez my pet 5 times in a fight so completely pissed me ...

Re: REALLY squishy pets

Today was absolutely unbearable. I was questing in Voldun, having hit 120 very recently, and I swear I had my finger on my pet heal button through every. single. fight. Not against rares, not against bosses, not against scenario mobs.. these were just regular mobs for quests (of the "kill 12 ad...

Re: REALLY squishy pets

and THIS is why I hate that they've gone back to making pet specs fixed by species. I've FINALLY found the pet that I really, REALLY feel for, one that really feels REAL to me, and that I have a relationship with as a hunter... and now I'm basically being told "yeah well, you'll have to use a d...

Re: What pets are you going to use to level up?

I love the white Raptor. Though there are other non-named ones just on the border between the two zones where they are listed. I forget the exact name, but it was something-raptor (I'll come back and correct this post if I find the exact name), rather than an actual name. There's even a pair running...

Re: Rant Thread

Man that sucks. I try to help other players when I see them. I think things will get worse with war mode. It gives extra exp so I'm going to try it, but I hate pvp unless it's an older bg. Even in pvp zones people on my server used to help each other out. thankfully, if you're not flagged for War M...

Re: Rant Thread

A guildmate had been stalking Portent for the better part of an hour on her Alliance hunter, a character she doesn't play often. She FINALLY found him (her computer's speed and graphics settings make it hard for her to track the footsteps). She tosses down a trap and a flare, portent caught, starts ...

Re: Nightborne Pet Suggestions

Welcome back to Azeroth, Nikrosnil. if you've been gone more than a year, be aware that the Nightborne race, as playable characters, will require you to grind another character for reputation and quest zone completion. You won't be able to create a Nightborne character until you've completed the Sur...

Re: New Pre-BFA Tames!

These are my latest tames... and the first in a VERY long time on Alliance side. Needless to say, it took lots of patience, since I had to get two of each. These are my NightElf pair, Anubias and Anubios, a married couple. She is generally more "light" and he generally more "dark"...

In defence of us colourblind people.. even WE wouldn't choose those ugly muddy colours.
I suspect the "artists in charge" may have been entirely blind, never mind colourblind.

Re: War of the Thorns annoyances

The Horde cinematic is definitely worth watching for the extra nuances, esp. Baine. What was with the focus on Alleria glancing at the ceiling just before Sylvanas does her banshee escape trick? It was like she anticipated it. ::SPOILERS AHEAD:: If you haven't seen the Horde version then you may no...

Re: War of the Thorns annoyances

Ugh, just did the Alliance side of Lordaeron. While yes the Alliance come across as the "good guys" in all of this, I have to say that the cutscenes and the gameplay were way more epic from the Horde perspective. Also tiny details left out of the cutscenes from one side to the other really...

Re: Rant Thread

That people seem to forget Lordaeron was it's own kingdom and not just part of the kingdom of Stormwind. So saying Lordaeron rightfully belongs to Anduin is like saying France belongs to the Queen of England. bah, remember, the Humans in Stormwind think everything is theirs by divine right. they st...

Re: So the Burning (spoilers)

Nope.
Not if it's not in the game it's not.
Argue all you want, but if I, as a player, have not come across any of this information while playing the game, then it is nothing more than fan-fic.
