He found them first and wanted the achievement. :) I've found he was 6 - 16 hrs but also only 3 rares can be up in Northrend at any one time so come back to the basin in 6 hrs, maybe have a guildie kill ...

If you've spent 100 hours or more staying idle near a spawn spot of any rare (total of course, not in one sitting ) you get the title <[Name] the Camper>". Okay, maybe that's kinda lame, but seriously. These people should get something extra for their efforts.

I noticed this when I was doing a similar way of taming on a normal mob.

I do these sometimes: -Read a book -RP on forum(s) -Enable sounds to be on when tabbed out, and then mess around online or do some WoW Model Viewer or Photoshop work -Drawing, writing -Chatting in /g or on Vent or whatever -Taking a nap right by the computer on the couch -Doing whatever in the room ...

I was on my new hunter alt trying to collect low level pets (stuff like Dishu, Humar the Pridelord, Takk the Leaper, Strider Clutchmother, etc.) and after a while this level 60 death knight starts randomly following me around. Aw, don't dump them. Just because they're unique/common (that doesn't make sense >.>;) doesn't mean they're automatically boring and useless. Aye, all I ever see now are devilsaurs, spirit beasts, cats, and spiders. I haven't seen chimaeras a whole bunch either, but it'll be awhile into leveling. Still something you might wanna consider.

Tame Feast - Tames a large feast that can give you buffs. (You can even tame exotic feasts!)

Shake Trap - Serves all enemies within 10 yards poisoned milkshakes.
