I like the kite but as a mount achievement it is definitely a disappointment.

I think the Water Strider is my new favorite mount. I'm still working on the Crane, Scorpid and August Celestial Dragon, already have an Azure one and my hunter will be getting the Jade and my DK or Monk the third one.

I always use the Flight Path bug feature to clear that PVP flag. I hate it since I'm not a PVPer very often and I don't care to be ganked by people who lack the skill to fight someone geared for it.

If that were true it's the absolute dumbest way to do it. Anyone who knows of the tracks knows they are backwards so it defeats the purpose.

I don't like having to compromise my settings to find tiny tracks to tame a pet which are backwards to boot. IMO that's just poor/lazy planning. They should have found another way to make the tracking part a challenge. Lowering settings or spawn camping a path is just not all that interesting or fun...

I found Glimmer's tracks but was unable to find him. Finally just gave in and camped him near the wall south of the Orchard. I camped Pat on the tiny island in the river too. I like where they were going with challenge tames but they made the tracking part too hard and the camp and fire flares away ...

Anything but another cat. A crane, reptile, anything new or under utilized would be fine by me, just no more cats.

I was just thinking of a spirit turtle when I read the above. Either the "old" model or the newer, mount-based one would be interesting.

So many times I've been in the "wrong" timezone compared to Dalaran to even get a shot at it that I've given up trying. CRZ might solve some problems but it sure has caused some even greater ones.

Took me a solid week to level Arch and nearly 30 Canopic Jars and untold numbers of Night Elf junk to get mine. You get it on your first try. The RNG gods smiled favorably on you.

I haven't done serious raiding on a hunter since WOTLK (almost always a wolf then) but when I did run my hunter in Cata via LFR I took whatever I wanted. Usually it was a spirit beast or occasionally a cat. But I haven't done LFR in months either, since well before the 5.0 patch and all those change...

Anecdotal evidence on MMO-Champ says it's true. But asking a GM is a surefire way to find out.

I knew it existed and even I couldn't find it initially. It's one of those things that slips through the cracks when they drop a few tons of information on us. It is a guess this affects everything else but given the way everything now seems to tie in account wide, it is a pretty solid guess.

This along with buggy fishing extravagenzas and Tol Barad/Wintergrasp control are supposedly fixed in the patch or will be hotfixed shortly. If only they'd gotten it sooner.

Part of my reluctance to get certain pets beyond a lackluster buff/debuff is lack of variety in color or appearance. I prefer rares but I'm hardly exclusive to them. Sporebats have 3 colors and only one of those is unique. It's not much choice.

I can't find it either. I went through 20 pages of blue posts on MMO. I know I read it though. It was regarding battle pets specifically but should apply to all other account wide achievements/earnings too. I'm still trying to find it myself. It's buried in the blue posts somewhere. Basically everything becomes account bound, not character bound and deleting a character won't alter that. I'll find it eventually.

I've seen several false positives of rares and I do blame cross realm servers for it.

They explicitly stated at one point that once an account earns something, it stays whether or not you delete whoever earned it. More would be nice but I also see the point of too many. With the current number you can easily hit the cap on unique looking pets and still want for more. Spirit beasts alone are something like 7-8 unique looks and it's only for one spec of three. I've dropped a number of the cat variations to make...
