Does he use the new Core Hound models or did he retain the old Core Hound model that now only Son Of The Beast uses?

I tamed this little bugger today - finally after about a week of constant searching. So many other hunters also camping and doing the rounds in Duskwood. There is no artifact trait that can do this.

There was a bug where Hati (the pet that is bound to the artifact weapon) was able to be summoned multiple times.

This was later hot fixed and now only 1 copy of Hati is summoned when your main pet is active.

You could also use the following macro: /cast Concussive Shot /stopcasting /stopcasting This will let you tag Ban'thalos to get aggro with Concussive Shot which does no damage and then will immediately cancel any auto shot to avoid accidentally killing him.
