I use Pitbull and Bartender just do to the fact that I really couldn't work with the frames the way I wanted to with X-pearl. Here's one set up that has really worked for me.

Also HeyBuddy, GlompMachine, GivesHugs, MouthHugs, and Omnomnom are fun.

I had one for a bit named Spaztastic because of the idle animation, Spaz for short.

That has to be my favorite add-on in all honesty. I love it for most of my pets but some of the families don't seem to have per-set emotes. Anyone else notice this?

My main hunter has her lovely Scarlet Tracking Hound and I wouldn't trade her for anything! The family ability Tendon Rip is fantastic for when you happen to pull off your pet and if you get a runner (I'm looking at you humanoids), and the damage output is also nothing to sneeze at. Currently the highest damage pets for mini-maxing would be: Marks/Survival : Wolf BM: 1. Devilsaur (in a raid setting), 2. Wolf (if no one knows how to buff), 3.
