Re: The Little Beetle That Could!
I didn't try a fresh retame, but the one I transferred became a normal-sized beetle though its profile page is still itty. It keeps its trail through death at least. Come on, Blizzard, how was THIS pet game-breaking? ;/ For PvE, I don't think it would matter. Thinking of PvP, though, I could see ho...

Re: What I have in my tropical fish tank
Well I did go get the 55 gallon kit on Friday. It's currently taking up an annoyingly large portion of the floor space in my 2nd bedroom/office. I also ordered an inline heater and some other stuff online. That leaves a stand, canister filter, and a couple other things I still need. I also need to f...

Re: The Little Beetle That Could!
Out of curiosity, has anyone tamed one on the PTR? Do we know if they'll still be tiny when 4.1 comes out?

Re: Tiny Beetle love thread!
When my 10 man raid finished a little early on Thursday, I'd hoped to snag a couple folks from it so I could go in and get a micro-beetle. Unfortunately, folks either logged before I asked or had to get to bed for early holiday trips on Friday. I'm hoping to try again tonight or tomorrow. Figure I w...

Re: What's the most common spot Loque is sighted at?
While on my long hunt for Krush, I spotted Loque multiple times. I gleefully tossed the tally of 'non Krush rares' I'd spotted while hunting the devilsaur, but I believe it was 5 times. I know I found him a new home twice, found him dead twice and saw him being tamed by another hunter once. Anyway, ...

Finally, after almost four months.
It was dead quiet at work on Friday, so I left a little early. I swung by a pet store to pick up a 55 gallon aquarium kit that was on sale. Since I'm not ready to set it up yet, I put it in the 2nd bedroom/office where my computers are. Figured after lugging that thing in I'd sit down and log into W...

Re: What I have in my tropical fish tank
Guppies are pretty. I'd love to get some but I have no room lol If you've room for a smallish tank, say 10 gallons, you could look into Endler's Livebearers. They're little guys. Not quite so flashy, but they're pretty, small, and like most all livebearers, easy to care for. On a related note, I'm ...

Re: WoW mobile guild chat released, free for a limited time
Dang. Well my main and most of my alts are in the Ruin battlegroup. Now I only have to wait for the Android version to come out. I'm not sure I'd stick with it once the free period was over, but it'd be interesting to poke about with.

Re: What I have in my tropical fish tank
Yeah. Livebearers do tend to be rather 'productive.' Still, they're relatively easy to care for and hardy. After that one had her gazillion kids, I set up my 20 gallon, caught 'em all and moved them there. When the fry were old enough for me to determine their genders, the boys (of which there were ...

Re: What I have in my tropical fish tank
He looks to be a zebra pleco. I'm not too surprised he could survive, really. Odds are there was plenty of algae n such growing for him to chow down upon, and a hiding place, and driftwood to chew on.

Re: What I have in my tropical fish tank
We used to have a skunk loach who made a "cave" out of driftwood. Boven you out fish me :P I'd like a betta there pretty. Eh. The 38 gallon was the first tank I set up. I only set up the 20 gallon because I bought a female platy to replace one that'd died. Of course, they're almost always...

Re: WoW mobile guild chat released, free for a limited time
I have a few guildmates who have been champing at the bit waiting for this. I wouldn't mind being able to check in with some of 'em during a break at work, but I'm not sure it's worth 3 bucks a month to me. Of course, having an Android phone, it's not yet an option for me anyway.

Ready to give up
Seriously, after looking for Krush for a bit over 3 months (with a few days missed), I'm about to throw in the towel. I never saw him on any character during WotLK and only once since January (and that time it was his corpse). I've I'm up to 5 Loque's (found hunters to tame him twice, found dead twi...

Or raptor mount tracks. I wonder if it's related to him sharing a model with the Horde mount.Dewclaw wrote:Lol, looks like dragon tracks.
On that note, I found it amusing that kodo mounts used to leave small dots for footprints back in the day.

Re: What I have in my tropical fish tank
Dang, you must have a decent sized tank. I wish my BN pleco would finally decide it's okay to come out during the day. After a bit over 2 years, though, I doubt he ever will. He still prefers to hang out in his lair, which is a little 'cave' I make for him with 3 pieces of driftwood. He's a shy boy,...

Re: The most creepy thing/place in WoW?
It was an homage to Big Trouble in Little China. I don't think you can get there any more. In hindsight, I should've tried to get in there back in the day, even though it was a forbidden area.Azunara wrote:Upside-Down Sinner's Room? Never heard of it.

Re: Norse god names!
Though it's not the name of a god, there's also Mjolnir. Mjolnir was Thor's hammer and when a friend suggested it as a name after I tamed Skoll, I felt it kind of fitting. From wikipedia: "... would be able to strike as firmly as he wanted, whatever his aim, and the hammer would never fail, and...

Re: Always the wrong one...
Make that four Loques, and a myriad of the more 'common' rares around the world (Humar, The Rake, Takk, etc.). I swear I can probably fly around the Basin checking his patrol areas with my eyes closed now. Perhaps I'm just using the wrong strategy. I generally wait at one end of one of his spawn/pat...

Re: Hunter Bug Fixes
Yeah, when I first read on another forum, I knew it had to be a typo or something. Someone posted asking why hunters weren't happy about it, so, aside from explaining to them that it's a bug that already exists, I posted the following example of why that hunter in your raid seems like an idiot who p...
