So I flew to Winterspring when I was bored and went to hang out by the frost sabers and then BAM, I saw Rak Shiri. I've never really set out to get him, but I figured it must have been fate. :p I let Fossil go (my white 2-headed vulture, formerly Trachela). Introducing Aendrick: http://img.photobuck...

Corehound Appreciation Thread!
Corehounds are definitely unique and oftentimes require going WAY out of your way to tame one. I want screenshots! I want stories! What is your individual corehound like personality-wise? What made you want to tame one in the first place?

Re: Silly two-headed puppy is back
Such a cutie. ^_^
Incidentally, I abandoned my Skoll recently for a Corehound as well, and never looked back. Grats on reclaiming your puppy, looks like the two of you go well together.

http://www.wow-petopia.com/images/skin_pix/carrionbirdskinoutlandwhite.jpg - Fossil is ruthless, cunning, and deeply vengeful. At one point I had all 4 spirit beasts, but it was really inconvenient not having a tank pet, and there was no variety. I have since abandoned all of my spirit beasts except Loque >.>
The pet I want more than any other is King Krush. Beyond that, I'm pretty happy with my stables currently.

Jesus the Beast was hard to tame. :p
When I paid off a priest and shammy and rolled into UBRS with a 6k GS and fear ward/blood lust on tap, I had a lot of misplaced confidence. I figured all of the horror stories didn't apply to me. Needless to say, I was pretty shocked when I failed no less than 6 billion times. The problem started as...

Re: Camping Krush and not settling for less~
I've had college classes to deal with, so I've only been camping him a couple of hours each night (and sometimes in the morning). I don't bother during the day because so many people are packed into the basin that it would be nearly impossible to tame him before someone else kills him. On the bright...

Would like to see new chimera colors and/or models.
I really like the concept behind chimeras and their sheer size is awesome, but I'm not particularly fond of any of the available skins (and there aren't many to choose from). The brown and white chimeras have primitive graphic features that bug me, like the really awful looking spikey hair on their ...

Camping Krush and not settling for less~ EDIT: GOOD THINGS
EDIT: I GOT HIM!!! What's more, I got him right after getting Kingslayer! Two great things in one night! :D I'm so jazzed right now. Although, taming him was a MAJOR pain since I didn't have any speed pots on me and only one piece from my haste gear set. >.> Thankfully no one ninja killed him before...

Re: Whose Currently In Your Stable?
I realize this topic is a bit old, but I thought it would be fun to contribute. ^_^ I'll be supplementing the stock photos with actual screenshots after maintenance is up~ Linesk's current stables: Antiquus, my favorite pet and raiding companion: http://www.wow-petopia.com/images/skin_pix/direwolfsk...

Re: Attached to polygons!? What is this madness!?
Thanks for all of the positive feedback, I've really enjoyed reading about your guys' favorite pets. ^_^ All the screenshots are nice, too. I just wanted to say that Antiquus was restored last night, and I have resolved to never release him again. The restoration took place while I was offline, but ...

Attached to polygons!? What is this madness!?
I've lurked around Petopia for eons, but only recently did I discover this neat community in the forums. ^_^ So anyway, the thread detailing how to tame an oil-stained wolf was extremely helpful so I of course went out and got one of my own. Thinking it would be silly to have 2 wolves, I abandoned m...

Re: R.I.P. Dexter
It is very hard for those who aren't animal lovers to understand how devastating the death of an animal companion can be. They are each unique, special individuals with a personality and soul, and Dexter was no exception. Perhaps the biggest problem with animal friends is that their lifespans are ty...

Ghost Jormungar in Cata?
I was wondering if anyone was sure if the Ghost Jormungar (spawned via a Sons of Hodir daily) would still be tamable in Cata. I always thought it was odd that they were tamable at all.
Thanks in advance for any input~
