WoWScrnShot_050120_195439.jpg The mechanical dogfrom the gnome hierloom quest, LASS-E x12, is not represented in the list of mechanical dogs. It's hard to tell with the color of the location, but LASS-E looks to be the orange variety. I don't know if it's tameable or not, as my gnome wasn't a hunter.

The good news is that I was able to find someone on the quest (or rather, who put themselves on the quest for me). The bad news is that the 'doing it yourself' wouldn't have worked because we were in a different phase. The good news again is that because the other person and I were in group together...

Do you have an EU person who's able to help with this one? I have alts who haven't done the quest (I'm pretty sure) but that doesn't help my main hunter who did it about... ten years ago.

The info on Sandclaw Stoneshell mentions it comes in 'one of four colors'.

However, even by the data here, it's one of *five* colors (the four black ones, and the ruby red with blue).

I assume for this trick you have to be able to multibox? Or can you accept invites from logged out characters?

I was looking to clear out my stable for my own tames.... and discovered to my surprise that my toad is still tiny. Looks like Bufo scaling is still a bit 'problematic'.

I have my Skyscreamer, but still trying to decide what of the other new tames I want (other than, you know, ALL OF THEM).

Most 'taming passes' happen fairly late in a patch, or at least mid-way. I wouldn't yet be worried about this. Unless 8.1's release is way closer to release than I realize! ;) My fingers are crossed that some of the 'old untameables' will be added earlier, but I wouldn't be shocked if they do the pa...

Same with Acherontia here on EU: I've got my Horde on Emerald Dream hanging out at the spot with the quest all ready, and will do my best to never turn the quest in. Wait. The sea eels are supposed to not be tameable? .... I think they have been changed to be tameable. Because the last time I came across them, I *swear* I checked one and it was tameable. Are any of the 'minor mobs' (the ones with the lower HP and the paler bars) tameable at all? It may be worth separating those out as well (I'm not sure of the term for them).

I'm actually pretty sure the 'stun' mechanic is a new one. I swear I remember trying to tame the silver serpent a few times with it stunned and it didn't even start.

But literally just spam tame beast. It might take a few spawns, but eventually it will go through. It doesn't even need to be stunned. It helps, but it's not necessary. I tamed it with like 15 people beating on it. It's not that easy: you have to be lucky enough to get someone to stun it long enoug...

Not sure if it's well known, but you can tame it while it's stunned. I stunned it on my warrior with shockwave, had full aggro due to taunt, and it got tamed right from under me. That may have been me. ;) And if it was.... I can only be so sorry. I don't think it was, though, since I wasn't whisper...

What/where *is* the list of untameables, anyway?

I'd like to make sure that everything I might have passed by are on there. Including ones that may just be wishful thinking, but I don't see why they aren't tameable (I.E. Skyscreamers and Zhevras).

Let's see my stable list:

Sabertron (red): 1.5
Spirit Worg: 1.5
Saurolisk Matriarch (orange and black): 1.5

I didn't add the rest (2.0) of them; just the different speeds.
