Re: Anyone Else Getting Screwed Up Like This?

I did get auto-kicked a couple of times when my laptop crashed during Siege of Wyrmrest and Madness of Deathwing raids, usually on Ultraxion (the latest video drivers at the time were bad)... Today something strange and different happened. I was on the Blademaster fight and died. I got disconnected...

Anyone Else Getting Screwed Up Like This?

1. You queue for LFR 2. You wait for it to pop, between 10-45 minutes 3. Queue pops, you click to enter the raid 4. You get popped back to where you were because they've begun the encounter before you zoned in 5. You have to leave the raid or you'll get locked out of loot on that boss for the week ...

Re: Rant Thread

I HATE being a third culture kid. I hate having to move every time I get used to a place. I hate being a foreigner in every place I've ever lived, including my home town. Thought I was FINALLY well-adjusted to the native land and getting some work experience when, whoops! It's not meant to be, we h...

Re: Hunter Talent Updates

and also, I would not want MOC in its current form to randomly apply, the cooldown and damage is to big for it to "accidently" proc on a small add/target, it could and would waste a lot of damage. Neither do I, but if they're going to balance it so that Blink Strike doesn't become the FOT...

Re: Hunter Talent Updates

All I can say is if (and it's terribly unlikely) Blink Strike remains as it is, I want Murder of Crows passively on targets that have hunter's mark. What? I've gotten used to my murder. <3 Me too... perhaps they'll make it like Glyph of Marked for Death, where Arcane Shot, Chimera Shot, Kill ...

Re: I'm an old player, and sometimes I reminisce.

Indeed, we have it a lot better now than we ever did, but there are things one misses. Like being able to run a complete circuit of the Ironforge ring with Eyes of the Beast on an AV Frostwolf.

Miss ya, Boo!!! Oh... my siggy is strangely appropriate.

Re: Gender of Spirit Beasts?

Did a bit more digging and found out where that macro came from -- http://www.wowpedia.org/Useful_macros#Target.27s_Gender Anyhow, most hunter pets I've tried it out on, including Magria, the Razza and the Darkshore Ghost Saber, show up as "Unknown!" -- so far, the only exception is a tam...

Re: Gender of Spirit Beasts?

I prefer to go by what I name them myself, but if you really want to know, there's a couple of ways to find out. One is to bring your pet to the cursed marines and sailors or Captain Halyndor on the north shipwreck on the northwest side of Wetlands, and allow them to hit you a couple of times and a...

Re: Are patches coming too fast?

This just in. YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING. Speed of the patches is fine, more content the better. besides the patch hasnt even come out yet and its just being put on the PTR .. its not likely well see it for a few more months... if anything i thought it was a little easier to get exalted with s...

Re: Are patches coming too fast?

It does seem a bit fast, and I too have not had time to level my alts. Perhaps they're overcompensating so people will forgive and forget the rancor and angast they expressed in threads like this... http://forums.wow-petopia.com/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=17874 Still makes me chuckle how mmo-champ ca...

Re: Pterrorwings: A Discussion

Hm, the system seems to have tossed my post in the bit bucket. Oh well... Take 2. I finally got to see Wain's video (it seemed to be broken for the first couple of days, maybe from tons of views). In the meantime I looked up recent pterosaur finds and got to see a variety of sizes and shapes. Our p...

Re: Pterrorwings: A Discussion

As for beavers... Blizz probably hasn't seen this yet.[/color] I'm starting to think the beavers on Dire Beast were a reference to Dungeons & Dragons. When you get a summoning spell, one of the first creatures you are able to summon is a dire badger. Beaver, badger - similar enough, eh? Not at ...

Re: Pterrorwings: A Discussion

I would love them as well, though seeing them as a Dire Beast makes me kinda feel like its the "runner up" prize concerning tameability. Maybe im just still bitter about beavers :P. Love their models though, Pterrorwings are gorgeous. They are spectacular. I wouldn't be surprised if their...

Re: Skyscreamer Tame?

Wow, I registered here for the first time because when i saw it no one else had info on it and I thought I would ask. This was a tame as I said and the glitch involves methods outside of WoW which is why I left it alone. The hunter lost the pet after logging out. As of today 3/19 11:03pm EST the &q...

Re: Skyscreamer Tame?

It must be spies from Blizz trolling to distract us from issues like goats' trample on autocast. :P Anyone check that out in the past few days? We've gotten a couple of updates on the launcher and it's been making me wonder.

Re: Direhorns- What are they good for?

My Mafalda has been doing nicely in LFR and heroics with one hiccup -- in Gate of the Setting Sun, after the cutscene just before Commander Ri'mok, the trash mobs aggroed her as soon as we zoned in. Healer didn't like that...

I'll take her over Stompy without trample on autocast though.

Re: Direhorns- What are they good for?

No worries, I really wanted to make sure before I said anything else... at this point it seems equivalent to a turtle as a tank pet -- 6 seconds no spell damage taken on a Direhorn, 12 seconds of 50% damage on a turtle.
