Ok so I've been camping since I got in to the Molten Front and I'm starting to think their spawn timer isn't 2-5hrs. Only seen the crab once and no sign of the kitty at all. Deth's spawned more times so far. So what excatly is the robot pets' spawn times? Is it the same 6-17? I've seen double spawns of all the spiders so far so maybe longer then that? -shrug-

It's 2 - 5 hrs....and they're gem pets, not robots. Lol. We can't tame mechanical stuff.

I dont question blizz on that sort of deal...we do tame shale spiders. XD

Cat from space! <3 Seen Skarr once now, and Karkin twice. All of them around the 6-12 hour timer.

Its more like 2-8 spawn timer. 8 is the latest weve seen them respawn, cant change my forum post cause the forum is locked unfortunately. Youve seen then spawn 12 hours apart? Is there a chance you missed a spawn? Id think 8 is the longest.. thats what I am hoping anyways anything more would suck..

Yeah, you're probably right (Hope so at least!). I think I might've missed one spawn during that 12 hour timer, was gone for an hour or so. So one of them could well have popped up in that time.

5 hours 45 mins and counting, still nothing. I've had both spawn points under survey with Eagle Eye. It's not 2-5 hours that's for sure.

Hmm.. I heard one spawned here at 4am, then the other I know about, around 12.20pm. I suspect there was a spawn in between, and after that there was a tamed Karkin at 18.20. The next could be due now.

Just called them robot pets because of the nickname Terminator Kitty and Big Red Button Crab. But it'd be cool to make your own mecho-pets.

Also I've seen/missed 4 Crab/Cat spawns with 3 being crabs and 1 being a cat. Wasn't really sure about the spawn timer difference, I was away for a few mins and saw it tamed and asked the hunter when they tamed it but I just want to try to get a better grasp of their timers.

So it's 2-8hrs then?

This was said in another thread already but, the 2-5 hour spawn timer was probably just for ptr, where they're lowered for testing purposes. So the actual timer on live servers is likely to be much longer.

o_O their timer is that short!?! wow, i should sit out there after i get banny and try to knock all 3 down (kirix, skarr, karkin)
