I'm considering looking into this, I can't find an answer to my question:

Does the other person get the mount right away or is it only after I add time to my account?

Where is a good place to find people to cast the scroll of resurrection on my account?

I believe the scroll sender only gets the mount once the friend who receives it adds 30 days of paid time to their resurrected account.

If you need a scroll sent I'm sure plenty of people here would be happy to do so. You can either give out your email address to someone, or if they go to the Battle.net page for the scroll they can simply send you one by your character's name and realm if you'd prefer not to give out that info.

Yep, I accepted a scroll of res yesterday and my friend hasn't got the mount yet - so it must be a subscription based thing

The referrer won't get the mount before the 7 free days of game time runs out, even if the 30 days are paid for. Still waiting for mine. >.<

Step 1 - Send Invitation
Send your friend a Scroll of Resurrection email by clicking Send Invitation. You may also invite a friend via your World of Warcraft in-game friends list or guild roster.
To receive a Scroll of Resurrection, your friend must meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the FAQ.


Step 2 - Resurrect Your Friend
When your friend accepts your invitation and returns to WoW, he or she immediately receives the following FREE rewards for ONE character:
Character boosted to level 80 - limited time offerFREE upgrade to Cataclysm7 FREE days of game timeFREE character move to your realm and faction so you can play together

Step 3 - Earn Rewards
When your resurrected friend pays for at least 30 days of game, you receive your choice of the following FREE rewards:

Spectral Gryphon for an Alliance Character
Or
Spectral Wind Rider for a Horde character

Are you still on Moon Guard? I imagine if I start playing again that'd be where I'd go D: I'm still not entirely sure on the specifics of this whole Scroll Of Res thing.

About this though, You would just have to send the scroll to Tsuki from a character on the realm you want to play on. In other words, if you want to play on moon guard, go online on a charcter on Moon Guard and submit the SoR from there (or you can do it on battle.net as well). Then Tsuki or whomever else you SoR with would get the invite, select that realm, and then either move whichever character to that realm (and whatever faction you are), or get a chance to make a whole new 80

At least you don't have to send it from the character you want the mount on. You can choose which char to send it to when you earn it, from the battle.net page.

Yeah my priests name is Tegs or my orc is still Olrankha those are the two chars I have. I still have a huge variation of characters named Tsu- on my friends list so lol.

Only if its paid with a credit card, if you purchase the 30 days of gametime out of the blizzard store and use that code to res the account (or get a physical 30 day card) the mount is granted right away. c:
