This may be a stupid question but I have been wondering if I am wasting my time so thought I would ask so here goes. I am a BM hunter of course and have been trying to get the binding for that sword Thunderfury as a hunter is it even possible to complete it I know we can hold swords even in BM why I haven't given up hope yet but if hunters can't finish it then I will delete the other binding. I looked at Wowhead and a comment did say hunters can do it but was long time ago.

Don't worry, it's not a stupid question. And, yes, BM hunters can do the Thunderfury quest. I know because I'm a BM hunter, and I did the quest last year. Good luck, and have fun!

You can do the old hand of ragnaros quest too but you can't equip (or couldn't when I did the quest) it so you don't get the achievement. My hunter has it in her bank. I think you can do all the old legendaries as they weren't class restricted but you just can't equip them all.
