And I loved Ion's justification for horses in the reddit AMA. "Oh, we didn't want to use flying creatures" Um, ok, sure, totally checks out. "We want to use things that fit in with those zones wildlife" Yeah, wickerbeasts everywhere, a ton of foxes and deer and bees and crabs and lizards and all manner of decided not-horses, and Oh, look I finally found a small isolated herd of horses, so clearly that is the dominant animal in this zone. Checks out.
