I'm ditching Beast because there is a wide variety of new pets I want to tame come Cata, and I just won't have the stable space for 2 core hounds.
Also, the Beast won't be visually special anymore after Cata hits, and I like a little more spice to my corhound. xD

My Beast certainly isn't going anywhere. I've been through so much with him, he's just developed his own personality. I'm way too attached to even think of letting him go. I don't even care that Magmadar will have the boss tags in Cata, Beast is my Beast and even without his tags that wont' change a thing. I'll simply tame Chromaggus and have him along with Beast. ^^

What would it take to tame him now? I know the first boss is not soloable, would 2 hunters be able to do it though? The moment 4.0.3 goes live I am hoping to tame this guy. Once he's tamed is he considered dead or will another spawn if you zone in/out or reset?

On another note, any horde hunters on crushridge want to go for him come 4.0.3? We could make it a group effort and get everyone their kick-ass chrom.

Useful buffs? Most of mine are going to be kitties, warpstalkers and spirit beasts lol.

Do we know if Chromaggus will be tameable in 4.0.3, 4.0.3a, or Cata release? I'm going to ask a few guildies of mine to run through up to him in the hopes that I can just save a lockout, run in when he's available, get him and go. :p

I am certainly hoping BEFORE 7 december. I'll have absolutely NO issue to get them along then. When everyone is busy questing is a different matter . I'm loving Blizz for all the cool hunter stuff they are doing, so much that I am, not even emo-ing about the lack of damage . If only they could make Rakki Turqouise again and make sure he is the only pet with that skin and make sure Shy-Rotam is the white+black tiger, then alll would be good.

But our guild won't get credit for old world guild raids until after Caty hits - so I'll just wait, and we'll take 10 guildies into BWL and get the guild achievement as well .

I would assume he's not tameable yet based on the fact that Helboars and Demon Dogs are still demons, but some solid confirmation on this would be awesome.
