Pets you can never leave with out

So, I've been having a lot of trouble picking a solid pet team. As of right now, I always have my Turtle pet(Terrorpene) on me for questing/solo purposes. However, I'd like to have a solid dps pet rotation. I usually carry my Quilen for it's res ability but other than that I usually just randomly pick other pets to fill the remaining 3 slots.
Also I'm usually in BM Spec but would also like a non-exotic team when I go Marks.

Any suggestions on what you would usually bring for dungeons/raids, be it exotic or non-exotic pets?
What pets do you always have on hand?

I like to take them all atleast once to get them exercise but I always have a spirit beast with me.

Always keep a Spirit Beast (for healing and Mastery buff), a Cat (because I like them), my new Arcane Serpent (for the haste buff), and a Quilen (for crit buff and battle rez). The last slot varies by mood. They all get specced Ferocity.

I like my quilen lots. I usually have a cat with me because I like them. My water strider is super handy and very underrated. Water walking ftw.

My main two on my horde hunter are my Lepoard spirit beast, Kelsifer, and my raptor FangDanglez. On my allie I have my wolf from Ramps, lilTraitor and my spirit beast bear, Rui. But other than that I try to roll threw everyone so they all get some time out and about

My hunter always keeps her spirit beast wolf(karoma) with her. Lydan is my favorite pet, he was a gift I didnt expect.

My pets' names are either Elvish words or attempts at humor for the most part. Loque, who is the Spirit Beast I always use, is named FaerDelu which means deadly spirit in Elvish. My two Quilens are named Ruishi, Chinese for auspicious lion, and KungPao which is self explanatory. Skoll, who was originally WolfBlitzer, became DathShando which is what you get when you type Wolf Spirit in Darnassian. I have a serpent named MontePython and my Crane is named Ichabod. The cat I use the most is my Moonstalker from Darkshore who I have had since January of 2006 when I was a young level 14 would be Hunter. I had originally played a Balance Druid and loved the Moonfire DOT spell so I decided to name the cat Moonfire because he was a Moonstalker and also kind of the Hunter form of a DOT.
The ones I'm currently running with are:

I reluctantly had to say goodbye to Sambas, Gondria, Pitch, and Aotona to make room for new companions. My diseased hawk named Psittacosis was also released but he will soon be retamed by my Undead Hunter DanielBone. I also know I WILL have a DireHorn so another trusted friend will have to be released back into the wild.

None really. I switch around my pets from time to time. I dont consider the family skills when changing. I just pic one i want to see next to me.
Though usually, not always! i have a spirit beast with me. Usually. cause Gift of the Naaru + spirit beast heal = awsome.

I've swapped to SV for the meanwhile, so mostly I've been hanging around my sword-in-head wolf Excalibur. Also have Scylla (Acroniss) and Archangel (Skyshadow? I think, the black/yellow BC wind serpent) as needed.

2/3 of my benched stable are exotics though

And they all have at least one ghostly spirit beast.

So these days, my Arcane Wyrms are my go-to pets.

I keep these for both my raid spec and my soloing spec (cause I'm lazy) with the spirit beast being most often deployed and the hyena occasionally swapped out for needed buff. When raiding, they're all ferocity. When soloing, the boar is tenacity. Every so often I use Canayi (Arcturis) for my spirit beast (I keep hoping for a cool bear appearance—I don't like the diseased look and the normal ones are boring).

My sentimental favorites (mostly because I leveled with them way back when) are Domuz, Karakurt (Snarler), and Tahrip (Dark Green Ravager). Two rare (at the time) tames that I am attached to are Esekarisi (Sapphire Hive Queen) and Flamankusu (Mazzranache).

I always have Wolf with me in some form or another. In my head, both my spirit wolf spirit beast and my wolf are the same animal. So, I always have mastery or crit as well as my longest running pet with me. I also rarely bench Thor my worm. My character is rather close to him and as a bonus he provides aoe and a buff that is often missing. My third slot right now is Namid my arcane serpent. The fourth slot often is empty or filled with a new pet I'm trying out. Generally though I switch the 4th and 5th slot around depending on what I'm doing or who I feel like playing with.

I logged out after the raid with, Thor(worm), Wolf(wolf), Namid(serpent), Yuraliria(silithid) and Borealis(raptor).

I quite often switch in my turtle or waterstrider for soloing or fishing.
