Important Direhorn Discovery

Unread post by Lazurianis »

Recently I was looking through the Wowhead Direhorn Models, to see if they had any intentions of new direhorn pets, and well.. here's what I found..

and

The model used is the Horridon-ZandalariTriceratopsSkincolor Model. This means, we can potentially tame reskins of Horridon.

Yeah, potentially. Its level seems to be ??, which means 93 for taming purposes IIRC.

Very good point, but I will try and test this out and re-post if I get any update on this,

Level ?? could mean that it's not actually programmed in the game yet either.

Or that wowhead just can't find info for it.

I'd be a bit surprised if there are any plans to introduce tameable saddled ones (yet?). Wowhead just has this listed because the beast using this model and skin exists. I don't think they know what Blizzard's plans are.

There is a brown armored Direhorn that attacks Shado-Pan base in Isle of Thunder every now and then, but sadly it isn't tamable according to Beast Lore.

Unfortunately while the Defiant Direhorn may actually be registered as tameable in their code, which is usually why these pop up on wowhead, I've personally confirmed they can't actually be attacked. When you break them free they run off, never once being hittable. :(

When Wowhead can't find info, it just says (for example) "Elite", with no notification of level. The "??" is a specific mark for "boss level".
