Fainting Direhorns?
Anyone else seeing this happening? My pet is *not* dead and it slumps over, like it is fainting, then pops back up and continues fighting. I can't remember if it's happening on Portent or my Devilsaur right now but wanted to see if anyone else has seen this...

It's autocasting cower. All your pets do this.

Yeah, Cower comes with a little 'Feign Death' animation which is pretty neat, the pet will autocast when it gets to around 50% health I believe.
Re: Fainting Direhorns?
Aaah. I guess on the Direhorn it's much, much more noticeable...

This is what happens when I take like 1.5 years off the game and come back...

Dire Horns have a VERY dramatic death animation! Also good candidates for easy-to-spot cowers: sporewalkers and devilsaurs.

All your pets do this when you first tame them. Which is what I meant, though I wasn't clear.Danielfboone wrote:Unless you turn Cower off which is the first thing I do with any pet.Kalliope wrote:It's autocasting cower. All your pets do this.
