Has anyone checked then since the patch? Noticed they were still beasts when out there on my priest...

Nothing associated with 5.3 content is tameable that I've seen, except the normal snow leopards in the Blood in the Snow scenario - and you can get those in far more convenient locations.

Huh, I forgot to check. I did report them on the ptr as being beasts, but they didn't change. But nor did they become tameable. So who knows? :)

Really, it's not that much of a stretch for them to become tamable. We can tame shale spiders and demon dogs, so if you take "supernaturally-powered dog" + "elemental creature made out of an inorganic substance" you get a flameworg.

I'd still rather those dogs be given to Warlocks, not Hunters. We already have plenty of pets. Warlocks are neglected in that sense. :P

Well, since I am leveling a lock, I would support this, but they are more elemental than demon.. Either way, they should be used. 8-)

I'd like to see them be like... a glyph for ele Shammies instead of spirit wolves? *shrug* Something Shammy.

That would look really badass for a warlock. Maybe even for Fire Mages to have some form of them.

I don't see why everyone can just have them. I love to see them come in green *if there isn't one already*

So many yummy colours!

And sure, it would be so very awesome if they made them tamable somehow (I'm running a firey Mog theme ATM and one would be perfect!) but unless they fall into the spiritbeast catagory? (Not that I'd want them to be limited to just BM) they do look very elemental and undead imo.

I guess you could always give the green ones to Warlocks, the blue ones to Death Knights and the orange ones to Mages and the red ones the Shammies?

Yeah, that would be pretty bad ass, and they could just a minor glyph or somthing?
Glyth of the Searing Spirits to replace the Feral Spirits.

^This. Since we stole spirit puppies I think shammies should get a lil compensation. Or even another ghost wolf glyph...that would be very cool!

Or you know, just to stir the pot a little more, maybe give them "glyph of the Storm Spirit"

This is the currently "unused" skin from that model, can hurt to have it implemented somehow right? ;)

It's the unused skin :)

My main is a shammy, but I'm perfectly happy that Hunters got that wolf :)

But I wouldn't mind seeing shammies get a ghost version of that unused Skoll skin, or new elemental pets: Capture/tame/make a contract with a wild elemental spirit to replace your current fire or earth one. Effectively identical, but cosmetically different. So those hellhounds, or fire hawks, would be perfect. I'd still love if hunters got access to them, though. They're certainly beastly enough. Probably more, but at least not less than, shale spiders.

As for warlocks... If the next xpac really is about the Legion, then hopefully there'll be a lot of new demonic models added that could also be considered to give variety to their pets.

Well considering that shammies already got the coolest pet this expac...
