I'm Still Trying...Fenryr keeps kicking my butt, lol!

901 ilevel and I keep getting him down to 20 & 14 %...

I am determined though, lol.

Anyone have suggestions how to do it with this setup? Or if you have other suggestions? Please let me know.

Your gear looks good, even a higher ilevel then me. When I finally got him, had a Quilen in tank spec, Sephuz's Secret, The Shadow Hunter's Voodoo Mask and ilevel of 894. (oh and maxed traits on Titanstrike). Used these often Draenic Agility Potion, Defiled Augment Rune, Barracuda Mrglgagh, Drums of Fury, Ancient Healing Potion or Ancient Rejuvenation Potion. Took so many fails, but made good practice. Disengaging from his leaps (did get his bleed on me once on last try), to feigning death to get him back on the pet when something went wrong. Tough challenge for sure. Wish you good luck, hope you get him. You can do it!

Could try switching some abilites to Way of the Cobra, Dire Frenzy, Killer Cobra

How do you time disengaging from his leaps I can't seem to get it?

Right before he lands on you or not long after he leaps. nice quote from Shelassa "When he leaps, if you use Disengage when he's already in the air or put enough distance between you by running in straight line, he will miss and not apply the bleed. Only use Disengage for the Leaps, or he will kill you either with bleeds or with catching up. Save the Aspect of the Turtle and Cheetah for those "Oh shit" moments" Could also use feign death/turtle shell. Just takes alot to make sure either your pet or hati is up to keep the fight going. Messed up alot on that, by finding out too late Hati died.

Xylexia, if you put him in your focus, you will see the cast bar / time for Leap. If you Disengage about the time he finishes casting or a second later, he will not apply the dot.

onenation777, gear looks good. If you have Prydaz or Sephuz, those make the fight that much easier, but otherwise, I'm sure you can do it with a bit of luck :)

but....I am really starting to dislike this Mythic...lol.

Aww, good luck! Sounds like it takes equal parts luck and patience. Hang in there!

Good luck! My advice is not to overthink it, there is an (un)healthy amount of luck involved.
Other than that, use Binding Shot and Tar Trap on CD and try not to stand still - that way adds can't catch up to you :)

I have a misdirect macro. If I have a focus set it won't work :(

Oh, what is the misdirect macro?

And can anyone confirm or deny if the rumors of Fenryr no longer being tamable once solo'd on normal mythic mode is true? A few have told me that he is no longer tamable after 7.2.5. I don't want to be wasting my time doing this if he won't spawn after anyway :(

And, I'm still in there trying....lol

Never give up, Never Surrender!!

Some useful macros for the fight and just out in the world:

Misdirects at your pet:

#showtooltip Misdirection
/cast [@pet] Misdirection

__

A "one-shot macro" - I usually press it after I get my pets in by Kill Command. All abilities are rapidly fired off within a span of a couple of seconds:

/cast Bestial Wrath
/cast Aspect of the Wild
/cast Titan's Thunder
/cast Dire Frenzy

__

A macro that makes sure my pet is attacking the target I want it to be attacking. Startattack at the end because my Belf has a habit of not doing auto-attacks after Kill Command (which is bad for procs):

#showtooltip Kill Command
/petattack
/cast Kill Command
/startattack
