Just be careful when you spend a lot of money on this. They may let you keep it, but who knows? From memory, sometimes "baby" pets have later been mutated into adults. I'd hate for anyone to spend a lot of money and something like that happens. Maybe it won't, and definitely I'm not saying don't do it, but just be aware there's always a risk when you're taming something that is clearly unintentional.

I mean maybe, but I doubt it, since they didn't with the triceratops. They've never changed a pet unless it was a direct violation of ToS (fire pet) or a playable race (Worgen). It may be an unintended model, but it's very much a beast and a wolf, just... poorly poly'd.

Ah, maybe I mis-remembered the baby direhorn being changed then. Maybe they won't do that. Is the baby direhorn still usable as a pet?

I'm not doubting you, but why don't we see people running around with baby direhorns if they weren't changed?

Ahhhh, I added you but my Horde boy is only 102. Do you think it's still possible? I'd love to have this wolf on him too.

I did see a baby direhorn once in Trueshot on Moon Guard and it made me realize how glad I am I never got to tame it cause it is so huge even running old stuff like I do I is a pain with the size.

I've seen that person running around too! The pet is so huge, and the textures get all stretched out at that size as well. From the looks of it the pupper is a bit better than that because it seems to be smaller, so I want to take a chance on it.
