Hey guys, I just saw a hunter running around with a battle pet sized marsuul pet from Argus. This thing was literally about the same size as the Lil Smoky pet she had out at the time. I asked her where she got it, and she told me the starting area of Argus, but I've not been able to find ANYTHING in any forums about anyone else finding a teeny tiny marsuul like this, and every one I tamed stayed the regular size. She said she was using the glyph to make it smaller, which I tested and it did not make mine anywhere near as small as hers so that's not it either. She seemed pretty confused about it being a big deal, so I think it was just literally the first one she saw and tamed? Has anyone else found this marsuul? I'm desperate!

It's possible she tamed a baby one, and it bugged for your client, as they sometimes do. I've seen tiny wolves and so on before?

And that reason is why she was so confused as to you saying her pet was tiny lol.

But the player was probably using Glyph of Lesser Proportion.

My guildie had the glyph on and her marsuul was really tiny.

Do you think it matters which slot you have open when you're taming them? As far as I know, the glyph only affects pets in the first slot.

Edit: I experimented, and I see no difference in size based on the slot.

it's likely this. The marsuuls are pretty smallish to start with. If you put the glyph on them they might shrink down to even smaller and appear like mini pets.

I may have to try that

I do have the glyph of lesser proportion, and while the Marsuul is a small hunter pet, it is nowhere near the size of a Marsuul mini-pet.
